That was the worst part about the whole thing:  Not only did C-Dub make the catch, but it was a touchdown, and his 4th of that game against Cornell.

Speaking of YouTube, the 2007 Wartburg Football Highlight Video is now online.  There is a 10 minute time limit, so I had to break it up into two parts.

DF '04- You should have done what my parents did and have a 10 year break between boys 3 and 4. Had #3 decided to stick school out, they would of had to wait only 6 years to go to more college football. Jr High football starts for #4 this coming fall. I know they can't wait since it will have been 3 years since someone in the family playing (2 coaching football and 1 coaching soccer though).
By the time #4 is out of college, Grandchild #1 will be in jr high.
Grandchild #2 is on the way this August. Great planning on our part, right during the heart of 2-a-days.

Its so cold outside that it must have affected the web site no one is writing today lucky its up to -5 now

In my world it is -25 this morning and that is way to cold.  I love how the weather people talk about the difference between -10 and -20 like its a big difference.  Once it gets down  to 0 or below it all feels the same to me.

Nice job on the videos sportsknight.

Sportsknight, Excellent job on that video. I have been boycotting sports since the Packers lost, so I'm trying to catch up. Isn't that mature for a 39 year old father to say?
On the subject of video, does anyone know if any schools have old game tapes for sale on DVD? I talked to someone at Central about this a few years ago. My dad played in the lated 1960's and I would love to have some his games to watch and to share with his grandkids. I thought it would be a great fundraiser to put out year by year DVDs. The person I talked with at Central thought this was a great idea but I never followed up to see if they were doing it.

Well they were smart in that respect.  I guess I didn't use my head what was I thinking?  I guess there are no guarantees on having boys and girls.

D-linemen are hard to come by anymore so if I could somehow groom him (being a little presumptive after having a VB player on the first try) to have my size with the speed of a LB, we may be on to something.
Of course, he may end up being a good clarinet player like me wife too  ???

Congrats on the new addition.  I hope that the little one has the same love for the game you do whether playing or leading a cheer of playing in the band.  Just be a part of the game!

I will try to find out.  I will see the coaches on Sunday and ask.  I know they have all the games on DVD now.  So I will ask them and see if that is something they can do and will try to get you a contact person for it.  I am sure that some of the other grads would like to see the old games as well.  It may be a money maker for the school  :D :D :D :D

Hot Dang Sportsknight.
Boy do I love Wartburg Football. That video was awesome. The wife doesn't know it, but after 1 vs 100 tonight, we're going to be watching old highlight tapes. Might even have to bust some old high school tapes.

New coach and recruiting coordinator in Pella.  Zach Pfanz a Coe graduate is coming to Pella.  I hope this will help to keep that conference trophy with the Dutch  :) :) :) :)

Congratulations, WH, from this Wildcat on your impending arrival. That's great news.

WH congrats on the new impending arival.  My birthday was always during camp.  From middle school through college.  Sitting in a film room breaking down practice tape on your 21st was oustanding  ::)!

If Pfanz is going to be the recruiting coordinator, does that mean Southmayd is gone?
