Well without going back and reading every post on here from the past week or so, a lot of the talk was just a lot of speculation about what was next for Coe now that Raeburn left from a bunch of posters with cabin fever and it was met with a lot of "you don't need to be talking about Coe if you don't know what's going on" type of talk from Coe fans.  From there things started to get a bit ugly.  

I know for me I posted that Wabash was closer to Raeburns home and would likely pay him more, could possibly have better facilities and then I made a joke about Cedar Rapids smelling bad and I got called out for that comment.  I did some speculating and then made a joke and some Coe fans got mad.  

What started out as some speculating from IIAC fans about what was next for Coe for some reason turned Coe fans angry at the rest of the board when all that was needed was some discussion on their part on what their take of the situation was.

3.)  Any way you slice in Cedar Rapids, Waverly, and Storm Lake all SMELL!  One smells like chocolate, one smells like vomit, and the other smells like burning baby diapers

If it makes you feel any better, it was 45 degrees this morning, and the natives were dressed in scarves, gloves and heavy coats while I was walking around with short sleeves. It really made me laugh that they thought they had it bad....

I probably should have commented.  I just don't comment every time.  Just like no Coe people responded to my comment about Would Coe think about hiring Staker with the idea of him being there 5-7 years and then having his son take over the head job like Tom Davis did at Drake for his son Keno!!!

I will sift through all the posts and look for your comment on Raeburns positive affect on Coe.  And again, in the past I have posted questions like "do you think Raeburn looking at other positions will affect Coe negatively"  which was just a question I have had and it has seemed to me...and I very well could have interpreted Coe fans responses wrongly, but it has seemed to me whenever a question like that comes up Coe fans tend to think the board is being negative towards Coe when in fact it is just questions different posters have asked. 

Anyway, I am now off in search of your comments on Raeburn...be back in a bit.
