Since its a snow ladden morning, and I have no desire to start my day, I am going to start taking bets.  The legal tender will be crunchberries.

How many more days will it be before Coe announces their new head coach
Over/Under: 3 days.

Coe's new head coach will have IIAC coaching experience
Line:  3-1

Coe will win 7 games in 2008 under the leadership of the new head coach.
Line:  5-1

The betting counter is now open.  Remember:  Incase you loose your bet, Mickey the loan shark will be around to collect bets :o

Two hour snow delay means I'm not working yet or motivated to in another hour anyway.  The Coe leaders did say they wanted to name a coach by the end of the week...they just didn't say which week!!!

over/under 3 days...I will say a push...friday will be the day they announce.

I will say the new coach will NOT have IIAC coaching experiance

I think Coe will win 7 games next year.  Coe will become the Rockford of the IIAC...Rockford has gone 7-3 five straight seasons.

In case I lose all my bets let it be known to Mickey the loan shark that my house is guarded my Millie the wonder beagle who has a vicious streak a mile wide.  Step on my property uninvited and she is likely to lick your face and roll over to have her tummy rubbed!!!

Curious on the Record for Coe.  Care to go out a limb and predict who will beat Coe? ;D

Central, Wartburg, UD and BV or Luther. (I haven't quite decided my picks yet)

Yep, you heard it here first! This is coming from the 3-time Pick 'Em winner.  ;D

Wow that would make them 6-4 worse than Doolittle's 7-3.  That is possible and I agree with three of your picks.  With Luther having a coaching change and their recent history I am not sold on them beating Coe just yet.  I am not sure UD will be up for that as well but am leaning that way.

With all the snow-talk ... here in Grand Rapids its been the snowiest 3 months on record.  And I believe last night's snowfall put us over the 100" mark.
Reality is for those who lack imagination 😀

Is your grandson old enough to shovel or handle the snowblower yet???  So grandpa can warm himself by the fire while planning trips to see UD next year  ;D

Me, Knightlife, Confused, and Show I know for sure. I remember there are others, I just don't remember who.

I spent the last 3 years as a DC for a 3A program although I am currently looking for a new gig (long story)

LinnMar won't take you back? I ran into your boy CJ Mac at the Central camp last year. I didn't follow them this year though. How did they do?
You come to Wartburg to play for championships

DF2K4 - Coe will go 7-3 each of the next 3 years...never losing to 1 team twice...except maybe Central...everybody loses to them  >:(

And there is a possibility members of the Doolittle family will see Central twice next year.  Definates on our schedule are

Rockford @ Dubuque
Dubuque @ Luther
Dubuque @ Wartburg

Possibilities for next year are

BV @ Dubuque
Dubuque @ Central
Central @ Cornell

My dad really wants to go to Pella and Mt. Vernon so if we can make those 2 weekends work we will do it.

So confused is/was a DC...what other specific jobs are held out there???

9-0 last year and if we don't go undefeated again this year, I will probably quit.

Soph OL coach at Dowling Catholic.

Dowling Catholic....Now they were a thorn in my side in high school.  Hated them with a passion and respected their winning tradition.  I do not hold much regard for my high school, so best of luck in the CIML Central.  I think it is one of the best conferences out there.  Besides Udale, everyone usually comes to play.

If your players are reading this, I think they just figured out how to get rid of you.

Besides the U and Indianola, the conference is very tough. Both of them have gone gun/spread the last 2 years and it has made their games a ton closer and Urbandale's new facilities are going to be top notch. Poor Johnston went 7-2 and got left out of the playoffs this year after just barely losing to SE Polk and Ankeny and stomping us.

With all due respect to the IIAC, I could have cared less about it when I was a freshman and sophomore in HS. I highly doubt any of those guys have even heard of some of our schools.

You have to take your dad to the bakery in Pella.  The Dutch Letters and puff pillows are wonderful.  They have other great treats as well.  You won't be disappointed.

I never thought that I would see the day that Johnston made a push to the top of that conference.  They were down right terrible when I was arround.  I personally hope they stay a bottom feeder, but that is my personal opinion.

Udale's faciities will be good.  Now lets see the Jhawks can get some kids out to play the game.  Maybe get some kids who can actually play the game.  I wonder about the status of the head coach.  He has not faired well.  Do you see him on the hot seat?

Walston Hoover

I don't see many CIML coaches on the hot seat. If they are in HS because of their record, and there are no other problems, that is something that the administration should never bring up.
