Sept. 13th 1986...the "1"st IIAC game I attended...a 40-0 UW-Platteville win over Dubuque

Sept. 13th 2008...will be the "1"st time DF2K4's son loses to a UD team as the U of Redlands team he coaches will go down hard to a motivated Spartan team that night!!!

11/12/2005...the "1"st IIAC game I listened to over the internet.  A 20-18 UD win over Loras...being able to listen to games is what got me following Dubuque and the IIAC more closely again.

1- Number of seasons SK lasted in Dutch country before moving back towards the mothership.

Good work.

1 - The number of hot BV girls I hooked up with on a trip out there to watch basketball back in '05.

1 - The number of STD's you were later treated for from that encounter???

I kid, I kid

SK's vocabulary has to be explained
"hooked up with" = what the rest of us know as "waitress who dropped beer off at our table"
You come to Wartburg to play for championships

Good one doolittle have to wait some time to give k for that.  First time son will not be on the field for a UD game in the last three years.  That might give them Spartans an even chance now  ;D ;D ;D ;D.  Just kidding.  There were many reasons for the Dutch winning against them son was just a small part.

Well a blind girl is out of the question then.  A waitress has to be able to see where the tables and customers are.    Just a little teasing SK   ;D ;D ;D ;D

1 = Times Central beat St. John's in the last 10 years.  :(

SK, when did you leave the land of the wooden shoes?

Doolittle,

#1 son and I are checking out flights to attend that game.  Central has a bye that week and being that it is the first game I would like to attend.  I don't know if I will attend to many other games but Mrs DF and I are talking about it.  Mrs DF made plans to take the grandson's to Thomas the Tank in Boone that Sat so both of us can not go.

Ooh....careful with the bragging, here. They are way ahead of us in the series. I'd love to see that change in the next 10 years or so....  ;D

He wasn't a small part of their 2007 win over the Spartans  :'(

If Redlands beats UD in 3 OT next year I will blame it solely on the presence of your son on their sidelines  :P

Not bragging just telling the facts.  We will get to the numbers in the future like how many wins over SJU we have and unfortunately how many losses.  This is just day one.

Those are kind words.  But if #83 does not catch that fourth down pass or if #5 does not kick the last FG that was tipped at the line they may still be playing that game.  That does not even mention #8's running and catching the ball.  Then the D's turnovers they came up with.  Thanks for your kind words but he really did only have a part in a great team win.
