5 - the number worn by 2 time all-IIAC safety Mark Mashburn.

Here is a picture of him being held against Wartburg http://www.dbq.edu/stats/football/photos/mashburn_small.jpg  ;D ;D ;D

Yes that is a hold.  The question I have is why is the runner running that way.  The referee is in front of him.  (guy in the white hat)  Usually you run away from the white hat to try to score.   ;D

He is going to help with spring practice.  Then at the end of May he leaves for Cali.  I think I am driving with him and then flying home.  I have been researching plane fairs for the UD game.  #1 son and I are thinking of going.  Are you and the family still thinking of going Doolittle?

You think that's a hold???  ::)
I'm guessing its a punt return going on and thus the reason for running at the white hat.

Depends on what kind of mood my wife is in!!!  She keeps flip flopping.  I would say it's about a 50-50 deal right now.  If we go we are probably flying into Vegas and spending friday night with my wifes grandmother before heading over to Redlands saturday morning.  Good thing it's a night game!!!

We have been told to by a friend if you are looking for flights to expand your search beyond LAX and look into I think he said San Bernadino and Ontario and some other area airports.

New Storm

great Iowa weather snow 1st of April spring practice starts soon for the IIAC. Guess it will be cold ones outside not like the big schools with the inside facilities to stay warm ???

Well look at the jersey it is being pulled.  I doubt that it got called or would have been called as he looks not to have a good grip on it.  If that makes sense.  By rule it doesn't look like the hold is in the frame wrong hand is holding wrong shoulder.  I believe that it is acceptable if the hold is in the frame of the shoulders isnt it.

Ontario is the place I think we would try to fly into.  If we go out more times (which I think we will)  We will fly into Vegas one time and rent a car to drive just to see Vegas and the Dam

I've heard from multiple people that going to Hoover Dam was a huge waste of time.  Unless you're a really big fan of engineering or big walls of stone that block water, I don't think its worth it.  Plus between the admission costs and the gas to get down there, you'd probably be able to "invest" that money at a table of some sort in Vegas and possibly earn some of it back.

SK you use the term "invest"  very loose don't you.  If I am going to truly invest I will talk to WH.   ;D  If it wasn't for the Dam I don't think there is a reason for me to go to Vegas.  Maybe see all the lights on the strip.  Gambling just does not trip my trigger.  I work to hard to earn my $ to let it go on a table.   ;D ;D ;D

Vegas is good for one thing.  Craps, lack of sleep, and gin.  When placed together they can make for a memorable experience  ;D
