Walston Hoover

Charlie or Coocs,
Is it true that Coe got conf. championship rings?
I know Grinnell used to get them when they won the MWc, but I hadn't heard of it in the IIAC.
You come to Wartburg to play for championships

Charlie Kohawk

I believe that's true, Walston, although I haven't seen one. I think it's a nice touch for a team that has won three conference championships in four years. My favorite piece of championship bling is the WWF-like title belt one of the players brings to the basketball games. Gotta hand it to Coe students for their creativity.
4 IIAC football championships
8 NCAA football playoff appearances
13 straight wins over Cornell in the oldest football rivalry west of the Mississippi

KohawkSideliner

i agree with Charlie, who doesn't like the "IIAC Belt"?

He was a load.  Looks like they're sticking him at fullback...seems that is more of a natural position for him.

I heard wartburg has a new weapon ready to step up this year.  his name is brandon vinzant.  they are calling him a secret weapon.  he plays wide receiver and it's a secret because he is actually the slowest person to ever step on a football field.  the coaches are hoping that he will cause db's to react to quickly and sprain their ankles, thus taking them out so the real players on the team can make plays.

I don't know, I thought he looked pretty fast when he ran past the entire BV secondary for that TD at the end of the first half back in October.

Walston- Congrats, I hope you don't value sleep too much.   :)

My son, a future Duhawk D-Lineman was born on Jan 27th. Its been a lot of fun except for the lack of sleep. Enjoy every minute.

Congratulations Hoover, however I must concur with Confused 77, get a nap during your lunch hour. :P

As far as the volleyball, lets hope the 20 inches, or higher, becomes her vertical.
I'm so happy 'cause today I found my friends. They're in my head.  I'm so ugly, that's okay, 'cause so are you!

coco

Congratulations, Walston Hoover, to you and Mrs. WH!

Enjoy this time, as it goes too fast.

Nothing says Valentine's day like having your car stolen..... Cry

If anyone sees a Green 1997 Chevy Cavalier with a dent in the driver's side door with Ohio License plate BK 85 ND rolling around the Des Moines area, please call me so I can kick someone's ass and get my damn car back!
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Turns out the Des Moines Police Department decided that a car shouldn't be parked on a side street no one uses for longer than 24 hours at a time or it gets towed.

Now taking guesses as to how much impound and towing fees will be.....
