My DVR is set with:

Lost (I don't want to take it off in fear I some how miss when it returns)
24 (another I don't want to miss....if it ever comes back)
Entourage (watched the first 3 seasons on DVD within a week)
Big Brother 10 (guilty pleasure...so crappy, but so addictive)
Firefly (seen all the episodes, but now in HD I had to DVR it)
CBS Monday Nights - How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men
FOX Sunday Nights - Simpsons, Family Guy (when new)
South Park (new episodes)
I usually browse the movie channels as well for anything I haven't seen or just old ones that I gotta see again (just DVR'd Karate Kid the other night...what a great soundtrack for all you 80's fans)
Cubs games are DVR'd as well unless it's a 1:05 game then I usually read the IIAC board and watch it in the cubicle.

I usually leave the TV on timer as I go to bed and watch Friends, According to Jim, Home Improvement, Cops or anything on Food Network.

And I will admit, it makes me feel better to see a few guys with Grey's Anatomy on their list.  I watched the season finale (it was on before Lost last winter) and got hooked.  Still trying to catch up on earlier episodes on DVD.

Beyond that, who has time for TV??
You find a lot of time for TV when your child goes to bed at 7 every night.
You come to Wartburg to play for championships

Wow, I just realized I watch way too much TV.  Though DVR is amazing and helps cut everything down in time thanks to no commercials.  Even working in a business where commercials help my paycheck I still skip over them.

So I take it there still is no kid yet WH.  Asked your brother about it this morning when I saw him on his way to practice since I hadn't had a chance to check the board yet.

I was 10 days late and almost 11 pounds when I was born.  Make sure to pass that info along to your wife, maybe she will want to give birth sooner.

Or the kid could end up like me:  2 weeks late and only came out after 25 hours of labor.   :o

It could be worse: I was 26 days late -- my mom's doctor didn't believe in inducing labor. Ironic, I haven't been late a day in my life since then.....

Unless you are Dubuque...then add 6 hours to that!!!

I do wonder why more IIAC teams don't play at least 1 game per year under the lights.  Pretty much every team has them.

I believe Coe reported to Camp yesterday, and have started practice today with meetings throughout the day.  I always had a good time during camp, well...at least the first couple of days, it was always nice seeing all your buddies that you hadn't seen/talked to throughout the summer.  Go Kohawks!

As much fun as night games are, logistical wise, a day game makes more sense. Teams can get all their travelling done in one day. Those games that start at 7 can make a VERY late night. We played UW OshKosh my sr year and I think it was something like 3 when we got home in the morning. Meetings at 1 the next day that coaches need to be ready for.
Night games are great when you are the home team, but adds a little stress for the road team.
Personally, as a player, I hated them. If I would have had my way, the games would have started about 7 am because I was almost always up by 5:30 on game day. By the tail end of my jr, year, I got in the habit of getting up and going for a walk and then coming back and showering and putting on my travel clothes, even if it was a home game. Made me feel ready to go.

I don't know why, but how this was tacked onto the end of this made me laugh.

Sly will be back from BV and he will be one to watch on at DB.  Hes a heck of an athlete.

Sly is an animal, if there is a play maker on BV this year it will be him.  I am guessing the beavers will win, 1 or 2 games just because of this kid.
