Lots of rain in Iowa means no ride for doolittle on the lucky lawnmower...Spartans could be on their own to pick up a win in SoCal.

I am now going to resort to Plan B...eating a lucky bowl of chocolate ice cream!!!  If that ends up working...I will officially be off my diet until after football season!!!  Go Spartans!!!  3 exclamation marks is also lucky  ;D

I also am voting that 5 Words or Less has been hitting the sauce tonight!!!

Nope ... at home with the flu!!!

Theraflu or Nyquill...kinda sorta equals hitting the sauce ;)

Hope you feel better soon.

Both of our girls and most of the kids at my wifes daycare have had the flu in the last couple of weeks.  My wife is just happy they don't have it now so we can make it to the Thomas the Tank Engine day at the Boone and Scenic Railway tomorrow.  So I will listen to the Iowa/ISU game over the radio while driving down there.  Hopefully the radio will also give IIAC game updates.  Get home, get the kids into bed and then watch OSU/USC while listening to the UD/Redlands game.

Watching USF/Kansas game right now...fun game to watch.  Getting me pumped for football tomorrow.  If IIAC teams can go at least 3-3 tomorrow I have confidence that the 3 later in the season non-con games can be swept by IIAC teams.  Therefore getting the Iowa Conference back to the 10-8 non-con record they had last season.

Just got off the phone with one of my old college buddies in california. He was able to watch some of UD's practice tonight and talked to the coaches and some of the players. He's excited about the game tomorrow. I will be at a bachelor party watching the hawk/isu game and playing poker/watching football all day. I am hoping to be able to catch the webcast but at least I will get text messages with updates.

This will be a great test for the Spartans. I hope they are ready to play tomorrow! I was able to get my grass cut tonight before the rain, I hope my mower brings a little luck to the spartans also!

For the sake of all IIAC teams (except Dubuque for obvious reasons), I hope the weather here in the midwest clears up sometime tomorrow.  Tonight was just an awful night to be at a football game.  By the time I got back to KWWL after shooting an hour and a half of the Waterloo Columbus-North Fayette game, the rain had soaked thru both the windbreaker jacket I was wearing AND  the long sleeved t-shirt I had on underneath.  Just plain miserable.

Loras vs Millikin- Millikin.  I know nothing about them but the more I know about Loras the less I like.

Simpson @ Northwestern:  Even if the sprinklers kick on at the end of the game again this year, Simpson should have this one well in hand by then.

WH....I saw the you game with Lincoln last night was close at half and then blown out in the second half.  How is Lincoln this year?  I know they have produced a few D1 guys over the last few season.

Good luck to all IIAC teams today and hopefully there are no serious injuries. Thought there was a slight possibility about making it to the Central/WB game next week but airline prices are murder.

Tell DF2k4 hello from KCdutch today. How does El Burrito compare to Chipotle?  Like Klop, I frequent Chipotle a couple of times every week! Chicken fajita burrito w/ hot & mild sauces...SO GOOD!  Good luck to all the IIAC teams today. Go hawks too!

10 to 7, Loras leads with 3 minutes left in the half.  10 unanswered for the Duhawks and momentum on their side heading toward the half. God I hope we don't blow it again!
Not going to lie...Dewey is a pretty good looking bird/furry beaked body builder.

Chipotle is a corporate restaurant, and it is pretty good, El Burrito is 4 little old Mexican ladies hand making the best tortillas you've ever had.
