"What do you get when 3 Wartburgers invade Woody's in Pella on a Thursday night? "

a phone call from 3 very intoxicated people at 1:30 AM :)
THIS IS...OUR HOUSE!  WHOSE HOUSE?!...OUR HOUSE!  WE RULE....OUR HOUSE!!

Lance:

Sorry for the late response to your inquiry.  Mrs. Warthog and I went to Mackinac Island for for a few days after the wedding.  We looped up to the island through the UP of Michigan then returned late today through Flint, Lansing, Chicago etc.

To answer your question: Not your RA.

The m.o. stayed the same: tall and blonde.

Kiltman:

Yes there is tailgating opportunities at Wartburg.  The main festivities area has been confiscated for the wellness center construction equipment.  Something will workout.  The Wartburg fans will be as much in the dark as you, but we can improvise.  I'm sure the adult beverages will be cold and the brats/wartdogs will be hot.

Warthog,

Thanks for all your help.  What time do the pre-game festivities start for the night games.  The Fighting Scots are gonna come and grill out before the game and talk a little football with you guys.  I'm looking forward to it.  And I second the thought about the adult beverages and the burgers

warthog

Kiltman:

With the game with the Scots coming at night and on a long weekend, the group I will be tailgating with is planning on a round of golf mid-morning.  We'll raise the orange and black flag and crank up the grill around 3:00 or 4:00.

If we get banded from the golf course after Thursday's Booster Club outing we may raise the flag and start the grill earlier than currently planned.

Coach Koehler certainly said the right things.  I wish him the best of luck.  The schedule maker wasn't on his side this year.  It appears most of the tough non-conference contests are going to be on the road.

How about new Knights?  Any rumors who will be showing up for pre-season drills in a few days?

Warthog-
There is plenty of talent planned to show up in camp-From what I've heard it sounds like the name of the game with recruiting this year is speed.

Some interesting news out of Falcons camp...

Carlos will be competing with Tony Yelk for the PK duties.

Warthog,

I plan on getting there with my Monmouth Crew at around 4 also.  We will have to crank up the grills and talk some football with you.  We may even bring some bagpipes.

Walston Hoover

Hopefully this Scottish Knight will be able to make it up there on Saturday. I'd love to take part in a drunken bagpipe contest.

Wow, somebody beat The_Show in posting some BV news.

At this point, I'm also planning on attending Wartburg's season opener in Waverly.  Will be a little strange to watch a Wartburg game from the stands, but I'll get used to it.
While I don't have any Scottish blood in me, the Scots and the Irish share a keen hatred of all things British, so I'm looking forward to bad mouthing the Brits with our friends from Monmouth.

I'm a friendly Scot, so I won't be bad-mouthing anyone....but I will be in a kilt showing my Scottish pride

Walston Hoover

We don't need to see to much of your Scottish pride so please wear something under your kilt and we'll hope its not windy.
On a completely unrelated note-
I was reading in Wartburg's preview that we have the 6th winningest program in D3 in the last 11 years. I like that stat and may have to throw it out there a little more.
