WH:  I see you had the Thursday night game too.  It appears the playoff picture will be fairly clear after the dust settles tonight.

WCF Courier Article on Luther QB Chris Reynolds

Sounds like this kid is one CIML player I wish that didn't want to play in the IIAC. ;)
Reynolds is very good, I wish he had wanted to stay a little closer to home.  Interesting article.  I have also developed a lot of respect for Coach Durnin in the few articles that I have read about Luther football.  It sounds like he is fair, honest and respectful in his comments.  I think Luther got two good recruits this year, but only one of them plays.

Coe over Wartburg ... time for the Kohawks to put up or shut up.

Charlie Kohawk

Gazette article on Kohawk hitman Tate Harrison is worth a read. He's an extraordinary football player, and a genuinely good guy. There's gonna be some hittin' going on tomorrow at Clark Field. I can't wait. Go Kohawks!

I graduated with a degree in economics.  Mrs. Warthog graduated with a degree in English and her extra-cirricular activity was choir.  Today however she taught me two important lessons as we discussed our 401K, our annuities, and our stock portfolio.

Mr. Harrison is a great Kid, comes from a very nice family. Know is brother Trent and cousin Travis. I remember the day I gave a Talk at his high school and Tate was assigned to help me setup. I was joking with him about coming to Wartburg ( even if everyone knew where he was going to go to college) I would tell him to come over to the house that I had some orange clothing he could try on and a couple of Wartburg hat he could have to wear, even to this day when I see him we joke with each other, in fact I told his Mother I probably could get him a job roofing last summer in Waverly.  Coe got an outstanding young man when they got Tate, but I'm still upset he didn't go to Wartburg ( ;D ;D ;D ;D). I wish the best for that young man, I still have one more year to work on him. Maybe I will start setting behind him at church this come summer.

Old Dutch

Here's to a great Saturday for everybody.  I'll still be pickin' the Dutch every week, you betcha.  But darn it, they just gotta get better in the second half.  Ya' know, thats been a trademark of Central, always respondin' to a halftime deficit and coaches adjustments so well they never feared bein' behind at the halftime. Don't know if I'll get to Pella today so good luck to everybody.

Go Dutch  Beat the Spartans and start climbin' that hill back to the top of the conference.  Gotta go now, I've got Moose to shoot.

Actually, neither Reynolds or Durnin are the secret weapon.  I think it was pretty clear after camp that Reynolds was going to be good. And Durnin's record speaks for itself.  The secret weapon I was referring to has not been really shown yet.

Good luck to all IIAC teams...and hopefully no one gets injured.

What a great day for football.  Looks like sunny and around 70 degrees today.  Good luck to everybody and lets have some good, injury free football today.  Go Spartans!!!

koekrazy87

Don't think you can ask for a better day to play football in October.  Lets get it going Kohawks and come out right away and drive the ball down the Knights throats.  Have heard Coe has a good game plan this week but that only takes you so far. You have to execute when the game gets tough.  Hope nobody gets hurt and good luck.  Except to Loras and Wartburg.

Heard that there is possibly a QB change for the Dutch today...Maybe it could get some life into the Dutch Offense

Does anyone have any information on wheather the Loras vs. BV game will be streaming or will we have to rely on live stats?
