Kohawk Remedy

Beautifull day for a Kohawk win today!

Old Dutch

It would be if it were so.  I am forecasting a low scoring game which translates to field position and the Dutch own a 10 yard differential in punting average.  Dutch by a TD on a short field drive. Kowhawks still winless on the home field. Go Dutch

hmmm, approaching Karma empowerment, stay on and make a run for it or ride the green and gold lawnmower, which would be the brand attributed to lucky streaks by Doolittle . . . the Dutch need all the luck they can get.

FYI..
coe has live video webcast,
www.coe.edu/athletics, click on the live video broadcast schedule, and on the game today.  now they just have to get it in HD
if your listening right now, its not pretty... could use some better commentators... maybe Herbie?

I wish the picture didn't freeze up so often.  Luther's was really good comparatively.  Then again, it is better than only listening.  I am listing to the Dutch radio and watching on delay over the internet.  That way I know when to close my eyes.   ;D ;D

Coe 1st drive was 3 and out...centrals 1st drive ended with 3, but coe's lb calvin thomas should have picked the ball off at the 15

Thank you very much.  I wish I could figure out how to watch the Coe video and listen to the Central call.

Central with another fg...0-6 central with 8 min left in 2nd qtr

So I got the Coe video going with the Central audio.  The problem is that the audio is like 30 seconds behind the audio.  Between that and the beer, I started to worry about creating a riff in the space time continum.  I'll just go with the Coe commentary.  Those guys need to know when the mic is on or off.  They had some unkind things to say about the officiating that I think they thought was off the record.

Now I know that the announcer is on his way to the men's room.  Too much information.

I'm in Pella, so it's no problem for me.  It's strange hearing what is going to happen before seeing it.  And the seeing it isn't very clear, so I like having the Dutch Radio, but they have lost the broadcast twice, both times while Central was scoring.  If things are not going our way second half, they better just sign off as we scored 10 of 13 points while they were not broadcasting.   :-\

The Show

Luther wins a shoot-out.  6-3.  BV had a chance at the end, but missed a jump ball.  Good game by Luther.  Good time for a bye (a.k.a. Waldorf) next week and be ready to finish strong.

Thanks to the folks at Coe for providing me with the video of today's game.  It took me a little while to get use to Jerry doing the play by play and Terny doing the color but the more I listened and the more I drank, the better I liked them.  They are talking now and don't know I am listening.  I feel like a peeping Tom.
