I know why everyone is so quiet. Most of you picked the Rams to beat the Norse on senior day in Decorah, before the season started. And now that the moment has arrived, you just feel sheepish.
i picked the rams to be 0fer this year

You also picked Coe to contend for the conference title... :P

Of course, after yesterday, maybe I should talk strictly about zone blocking schemes and blitz packages...less someone confuse me for leading an alternative lifestyle...not that there is anything wrong with that  ;D

I did not acuse you of living an alternative lifestyle.  If you want to live one go right ahead.  Do not let me stop you and I will not judge.  Regarding zone blocking (if you understand it), I am not the czar (look it up Coe fans) WOW, that's a big word for you K.  It has 4 letters and is spelled correctly and everything!  ;D   You nearly relinquished your "academically challenged" status -if only you would have spelled 'accuse" correctly... oh, and added a needed apostrophe in "thats" and a few other needed marks.  You were SO close!  But hey, I'm STILL going to help you cheer for the Bevoers this Saturday!   :Dof this board and I did not tell you had to do any such thing.  You put DF2k4 up on this mountian as the most winning fan in the history of Dutch football.  I puked a little bit in the back of my mouth, thats all.

Never thought I would see the day that a Kohawk was the grammar police...I guess there is some educating going on at that institution.

Just having alittle light-hearted fun with K.  Gotta keep him grounded 'cuz he will be flying high after Saturday's big win.  Look out Dutch!

Central gets to go to BV with no pressure on them.  That and Kurtis Brondyke may be their only advantages on Saturday.  I would not have pegged this as one of the toughest games going into the season and am still trying to adjust to being the underdog.  We don't have much of a running game this season and if the wind is gusting on Saturday, it won't do much for our passing game either.  Our defense plays tough, at least in the 4th quarter.  If they play hard the whole game, who knows.  Of course, the offense has to give them a breather once in a while.  I don't look for Central to be able to control the clock because our most effective offense thus far has been through passing and that does not control the clock.

Last year with all of our seniors and super-seniors having to play most of every conference game and on into overtimes, just did not give enough quality playing time to the kids that came back this year.  Next year, we will have that going for us.  So I hope my Dutch go out and play hard.  Win or lose, I want them to play to their best potential.  Of course, if they want to enjoy the ride home and that nice meal that will be awaiting them on the way, they better just win.   ;D ;D ;D  A win would really be enjoyable if Wartburg could lose along with BV.   ;)

I feel bad that here it is the 6th already and I just learned that November is Iowa Wine Industry Month.  I wish I had a bottle to uncork to celebrate when Central beats the Beavers.

Dear Klop, I only have sisters ;)

You get no argument from me.  I didn't feel I needed to respond to you.  I guess I will just add that a friend of mine was talking to me recently and he mentioned he was not sure if he had EVER seen Dubuque win a game.  That got me thinking that DF2K4 had probably seen most Central games over the last few years...the ones he might have missed could well have been playoff games up in Minnesota...leading to the fact he would probably have a pretty high winning percentage.  Mostly I take a light hearted approach to posting on here.  Wasn't trying to put DF2K4 up on a pedestal or make you puke in your mouth...you have my apologies and hopefully you hadn't eaten anything too gross before your mini vomit!!!

I don't want to be up there either.  I am no better or worse than any other poster on here.

It really was just a curiosity thing with me.  Which often drives my posts on here.  I have asked in the past what went into posters decisions towards picking the school they went to.  What went into their thinking about getting into coaching.  If they wanted to stay in the game would they prefer coaching or refing.  Things like that.  I just enjoy finding out what people think about things.

Here is a question for Klop...

You went to a D2 school for a year (SW Minny???)  before transferring to BV.  Do you find yourself still being a fan of your first school and still keeping track of how they do, maybe even posting at D2football???  Or do you have hard feelings from your experiance there and prefer to only follow BV???

That was not my mistake.  That was a calculated move.   ;D

I figured that might bring you out of the woodwork.

Yes I do still follow SMSU.  I do not keep close tabs on them because I do not hold a degree from that school.  The reason that I left was merely family based.  My parrents always watched me play growing up.  When we got into conference play in MN I was all over the state and into other states my freshman year.  My parrents only made a handfull of games and I did not like that.  I always liked BV and really liked Osty in high school.  I talked with my parrents and they said they would make every game if I transfered.  So my decision was pretty easy.  I met some great people up there and still miss a lot of them as I have lost touch with about all of them at this point.  I had a great time up there but BV is where my heart lies.  That is who gave me a degree that I most likely did not earn, as I was either working to pay for the damn school or drinking to not think about school ;D  But it all paid off in the end.  I traded changing tires for a job that will lift me to where I want to be in life.
