Me.  I still look for that classic Roadmaster Wagon with the Faux wood sides.

My wife rolls her eyes and ignores me.

My sister had one of those while in med school.  It had been passed down to her from my mom.  The Faux wood siding was starting to come off and flapped in the wind.  Also, the only door that worked was the rear driver side door, so you had to get in the back seat and climb over the front seat to drive.  They finally got rid of it when a local dealer had a $500 push pull or drag sale. 

I also had a friend that had a green Hornet he bought for $100.  He bought a battery to get it running and it was so loud you could hear it in the parking lot from your dorm room.  When he graduated he left it in the parking lot and wrote a letter (there wasn't email back then) to the University telling them that was his first donation to the school.

We went 0-10.  I think I'd be more upset if we didn't make changes.

The problem I had was that, lacking a formal release, posting hearsay about someone's career is bogus.  I think folks deserve a little more respect.

Bingo.  The issue isn't that changes (possibly) are being made, but that nameless, classless, gutless wankers announced the changes the way they did.

Particularly wankish is the spineless attempt to implicate a current player in the gutter crawling spectacle.  Shameless.

Oh for sure...changes need to be made...I'm just hoping they are the right ones and I have confidence in our new AD that he will make the right ones but of course not everyone will be in agreement with that. I think time will tell.

I had heard about these possible changes for weeks now but I posted nothing because of that reason Heys. I kind of made that mistake during the summer about Bush so I didn't want to do that again...and you are correct those folks deserve more respect than that.

Thanks, but it won't do any good.  I'm working up a fair bit of animosity from the WIAC folks and they're making an effort to keep me on the Satanic number.  I'm actually impressed that they are bright enough to coordinate the clicking of the "applaud" and "smite" links.

Name calling...really effective.  I did that in fifth grade.  No wonder you stay anonymous.  That way no one can show up to your mother's house and delete your WoW account.  Stay classy.

It wasn't an attempt to implicate someone as I've already stated the person posted before and no one cared.  Its obvious the person has some close connections with the school.  Maybe the name/number they used means something to them.  Just a thought.

My final thought.  When you accept a collegiate coaching position, I don't care who/where you are.  You subject yourself to public rumors/critcism/etc. Do you all feel the same way about rumors circulating about Charlie Weiss being canned because hes doin a shi*** job at Notre Dame.  Probably not.  People talk, thats life.  It comes with the job and you guys cant handle it, which is why youre not doing it.

To clear at least one point...CCRAM33's handle was not an attempt to smear Jared Sanches who wore #33 for the Rams this year.

It was, however, an honest assumption, given the timing and the vitriol of the original post.  Such things have happened and the veteran posters have seen it first hand.  When it happens it is offensive and folks reacted accordingly.  This is an outcome fanned by anonymous posting.  People take your meaning their own way and inintentional slights happen.

Anyway...moving on.

I'm here but I'm still trying to thaw out from Saturday's Coe-UD game!   Brrr.     

Chalmers can get very windy and very cold in the right conditions.  At least you got to see your team win...unlike me the week before when I was in Waverly for the UD game!!!

So what's up with Coe putting up a story AND pictures of every game this year BUT the UD game???  They have a story but no pics  We only went to the night game UD had this year and I was hoping to get some pics of the place during the day.

So "name calling" (aka: valid criticism) of an obvious pot-stirrer = bad, but insulting a well-respected poster who is essentially defending the honor of your favorite team = ok?

It takes about a week before the pics go up.  As I remember, prior to this year, you could download the photos for free.   Dot photo is the "official" photographer who takes their own sweet time about posting the pics AND charges $ unless you don't mind the word PROOF being spread across the print.
