It takes about a week before the pics go up.  As I remember, prior to this year, you could download the photos for free.   Dot photo is the "official" photographer who takes their own sweet time about posting the pics AND charges $ unless you don't mind the word PROOF being spread across the print. ;)
Now wait just a minute here. I personally take most of the photos that are uploaded to dotphoto, which is merely the service we use to make sports photos available to parents, students and alumni. The uploading is managed by the SID and, quite frankly, it's not his top priority. Especially now as we transition from fall to winter sports. Prior to this year, you could NOT download the photos. A CD of photos was sold at the end of the season. We intentionally kept the prices rediculously low -- below Walmart even -- so that cost would not be a factor for anyone wanting particular photos. This service has been very well received and we've even sold photos to parents of players on opposing teams. Apparently, some "kohawk fans" don't think we should recoup anything for our costs of equipment, travel, time, etc.

So The Show, you pick Central to finish second and they finish fifth, then you have Coe finishing fifth and that is where they end up, tied for fifth and yet  Coe is a bigger bad suprise than Central.

Care to comment?

Sure!  Not winning a home game and finishing the season with a losing record.  Finishing 5th with a 4-6 record was a little worse than Central's 5th at 6-4.  And Central was able to upset BV.

Central had youth and injuries as somewhat of an "excuse" for the 5th place finish.  All Coe had was a new head coach who was already in the system (maybe I missed something else, but please don't bring up the officials in the Loras game!  ::) )

I know I shouldn't bother as there is no chance I will affect your thinking, but...

Where do I even begin..."that nameless, classless, gutless wankers announced the changes the way they did"
Name calling...really effective.  I did that in fifth grade.  No wonder you stay anonymous.  That way no one can show up to your mother's house and delete your WoW account.  Stay classy.

How you can reconcile your call for classy behavior with your own example is a feat beyond the capabilities of even TDT, who all know is the President of the Classless A$$holes Club.  Your farcical attempt to deflect a statement calling a spade a spade is embarrassing.

"Particularly wankish is the spineless attempt to implicate a current player in the gutter crawling spectacle.  Shameless"
It wasn't an attempt to implicate someone as I've already stated the person posted before and no one cared.  Its obvious the person has some close connections with the school.  Maybe the name/number they used means something to them.  Just a thought.

Ok, a former player with that number then, or a parent of a player with that number (now or in the past).  Whoever it is, keep rushing to their defense.  I'm sure they appreciate your efforts.  At the rate you're going the entire State of Iowa will soon be implicated.

My final thought.  When you accept a collegiate coaching position, I don't care who/where you are.  You subject yourself to public rumors/critcism/etc. Do you all feel the same way about rumors circulating about Charlie Weiss being canned because hes doin a shi*** job at Notre Dame.  Probably not.  People talk, thats life.  It comes with the job and you guys cant handle it, which is why youre not doing it.

So sayeth King James....

No one here denies that when you take a coaching position it involves significant responsibilities and includes unfortunate side "benefits" such as rumor-mongering.  What we failed to realize is that you took it as a special responsibility to propagate rumors and stimulate innuendo.  SpeedKills84 is actually performing a valuable public service to the benefit of Cornell football.  Who knew?

Walston, what time are you and the gang planning on arriving at Steven's Point?  I plan on making the trip from Winona myself that morning.
Leaving Cedar Falls area at 4. Should put us in SP between 9 and 10. Enough time to fire up the grill and get the crock pot simmering.
Kind of depends on how many Mounties are working the roads in Southern Minny and Wisky on a Saturday morning that early. WIll they mind if we stretch the speed limit a little?

Depending on what route you take.  If you take backroads from Decorah to Mabel (where I assume you pick up 43 to get to Winona) you can clip along that road and at 15-20 over an never run into a cop (so close to the boarder).  As for 43, normally pretty empty from police, however it is rather winding at spots making tough to go faster.  But as others have posted on here 10 over should not be a problem.  Deer hunting starts this weekend in Wisconsin so keep an eye out for those trying to avoid the shotgun.

Heys...I might be in the market to part ways with my old college vehicle.  She was quite the beast.  An old K5 Chevy Blazer.  She gets about 10 mpg but ran like a top.  She spent many morning running through the backroad of the Buena Vista County chasing ducks, geese, and pheasents.  I will make sure the beer cans are cleaned out and the old dirty underwear from my SWOPE encounters :o  BOY you know what I'm talking about!

It's much easier to just use your actual name in your handle -although not many do/will

  Finishing 5th with a 4-6 record was a little worse than Central's 5th at 6-4.

Central played two teams from bad conferences that finished no better than third in their crappy conferences.
Coe played two teams from top conferences that finished no worse than middle of their conference.

The dissapointment should be in Central scheduling powder puffs, and barely beating the fourth place team out of the MIAA.

Coocoo-
Do you think Coe should talking about weak noncon scheduling?  Before this year, hasn't Coe traditionally had weak noncons?

Anyway you slice, Coe and Central had disappointing seasons....

sportsknight

Never thought I'd see the day that Central and Coe fans would be arguing about which team was the bigger disappointment.  Although I have to say I kind of enjoy it!  :D

I believe those are called air fresheners, and they are one aftermarket accessory that adds value to any vehicle.

That would be a fair statement!  I did not mean to exclude you on that one.  I know you and you crew have plenty of stories as well.
