Remember to keep the tires properly inflated.  When it gets really cold, the air in the tires becomes more dense so the pressure goes down.  I've seen them get so low the seal breaks and the tire goes flat.  It is no fun changing a tire in the snow when it is sub zero.  Of course if you have a beautiful woman along who will change the tire, it might not be so bad.

Go Burgers!!!  Heat it up in Cheeseland!!!

On the recruiting front, I'm aware of a DL transfer from UNI for the Knights for next year. Was told by his uncle yesterday.

Go Knights, I have my orange sweatshirt on and will have the game on the computer this afternoon.  Hopefully my wife doesn't give me too many chores so I can see more of the game this week.

I don't have a link, but the CR Gazette has a nice write-up on Wartburg S Jason Lansing today.  I found this quote pretty telling:

"It's been everything I could have been expected," Lansing said of close playoff road wins over Wisconsin-Stevens Point and Monmouth. "That was the goal coming in for us as freshmen. They'd won three straight conference titles, and I think that helped recruit us here. We wanted to continue that success and make it farther in the playoffs."

I heard the exact same thing from the seniors on the '03 team, saying that when they were recruited after the '99 season they knew they would be coming into a program that was a winner.  I'm sure the recruiting pitch this offseason (which is hopefully a couple weeks away) will be that incoming players can play for a program that can compete on the national stage.

Quick heads-up for fellow Wartburg fans - While watching/listening to the Knights online, you can watch former Wartburg coach Bob Nielsen's Minnesota-Duluth team take on California (PA) in the D2 playoffs on ESPN Classic.  That game kicks off in 15 minutes at 11:00 Central.
On ESPN at 11:00 is UConn hosting Pitt, where you can watch former Wartburg basketball player Jordan Atchison's brother-in-law Tyler Lorenzen quarterback the Huskies in their pursuit of a second straight bowl bid.

I believe his greatest legacy comes not in how many football games he won or lost but in the fact that he was a committed follower of Jesus Christ.

Also, Go Knights!

can someone tell me why when I have the link open to watch the game and then open a seperate browser to get the audio thru WB this takes over the live video feed?

I should be able to have both open correct?

I doubt it, plus the sound would probably be way out of sync anyway.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

I haven't had a problem with this in the past. Right now, I've got the pennatlantic, espn360, and kway streaming. I'm probably about 12 hours behind on the game so nobody ruin it for me :)

Dave,
Probably has something to do with what program you're using for the feeds.  The video opened up in Windows Media Player for me, and if I tried opening the radio stream with the same program, I'd lose the video.  Try opening the radio feed with Real Player or different program.  I think the live feed kwar.org uses Real Player as its default, so that might be your best bet.
