I just like hamburgers...it could be sitting under the heat lamps at kwik star for 2 hours and I would still eat it.

But given the choice...say if a BK and a kwik star were situated next door to each other...I would choose the whopper ;)

Come on now dog you cant be serious.  I love hamburgers myself.  I once ate 12 in a day ranging from whoppers to big mac to one at the americana bar at luther, but I draw the line at the kwik star hamburgers.

If you want to have some fun with the clerk ask them what the ETS is on the burgers.  When they look at your strange say the estimated time of spinning.  Since they are usually found in those sweet rotating food heaters.

Thanks.  I needed a good laugh.

I laugh when I think of the Wartburg guys in the NFL.
Not to mention Gagliardi winners.

I'm so happy 'cause today I found my friends. They're in my head.  I'm so ugly, that's okay, 'cause so are you!

On the Mount Rushmore thing for Iowa.  I have to ask out of ignorance why Jack Trice?  Was he that good of a football player.  I know he is an Icon for Iowa State and the diversity movement I have never heard about his ability as a player.  Walston can you imform me some.  I am not doubting he is a possible candidate just need to know why.

Coe guys can have all the individual success they want.  Wartburg will just have to settle for Iowa Conference championships, I guess.

snoop dawg

My friend who is my mortgage broker is a Coe alum.  I may have to rethink using him again. ;)

He was killed in his first football game at Iowa State.  Hard to tell how good he was.

Wartburg has 11 titles in how many years?  I'm sure it's more than the 10 of Coe.

Coe has 3 titles in 10 years of being in the league, along with a guy playing in the NFL.

I am a glutton (spelling) for eating bad food.  And a creature of habit.  Once, while at the Casey's in Wellsburg I heard one counter worker say to the other one "watch this, he always gets a mountain dew and 2 slices of pizza"  It was enough to make me THINK about getting something else.  But I didn't.  For me Casey's tends to be pizza and pop.  Kwik Star is a burger and pop.  Kum & Go tends to be a chili dog and pop.  Until my wife put me on a diet and sends me out with food.  Orange slices, apple slices and that sort of stuff.

Another vote for the Whopper.  Definitely not the best burger in the world ... but at least its consistent.
You guys got it all wrong.  It ain't about the burgers.  It's the fries and Mickey D's has the best in the world.  I have been known to go though Wendy's drive thru to get the burger and then make a side trip to McD's to get the fries!  Nothing better when they are hot and fresh out of the oil and full of salt!   ;)

I would agree with that.  The fries are great and they have to be hot and fresh.  There is nothing worse than cold mickey d's fries.

All this food talk got me thinking.  Do teams put their players on any sort of diet while they are in school...or in season?  Or is it all just up to the players?  Just curious if the team bus pulls into a Taco Johns on the way over to a game and players load up on potato oles and stuff like that or if the coaches try to make players watch what they eat.
