During games they are limited to less than 100 (70?) players.

Even the American School of the Hague doesn't play American football. NFL Europe was very popular there, however.

I just thought it was funny they have a number for everyone on the roster and they just keep going up after 99.

Sorry, I didn't realize anyone actually used 3-digit numbers.

Every program I'm familiar with just gives duplicate numbers during practice.  (I know of one school with FOUR #44s!)

Who has practice jerseys with 3 digit numbers printed on them? I seriously doubt they're going to embarrass someone by doing that. That would be a pretty sick thing to do, IMO.

They don't use 3 digit practice jerseys. I have looked at the roster a couple times and noticed some players starting to get duplicate numbers which tells me they aren't done updating the roster and just listed all the players and will assign numbers to the duplicates in good time...... 

Better then just having a jersey with a RED X on it!!
