I have to agree with Willie U on this one.

It seems like a simple concept to me.
Usually UD grads stick to the simple stuff.....not surprising at all.

Have to keep it "simple" for all readers to understand  ;)

Does this mean UD will start allowing vuvuzelas at their football games?

Yes, but only when the other team is lining up for a potential game winning field goal in triple OT ;)

That's ok as long as it is only partially blocked.  I think that one will stick in your gizzard a long time.

Aaron Kampman on Coach Ed Thomas
I believe his greatest legacy comes not in how many football games he won or lost but in the fact that he was a committed follower of Jesus Christ.

I hope Coach Brautigam can bring some success to the Cornell program.  Fun to see his son Nick get interviewed.  Here is a picture of Nick and Zach Brautigam from 6-7 years ago when they would help out on the UD radio broadcasts...

I think Walston Hoovers high school girlfriend is the girl in the next shot by the way :P

With a name like that wasn't she everybody's high school girlfriend. At least her first name wasn't Fonda.(a real person by the way) ;)

If I could take you posters away from the IIAC talk for just a second -- I was wondering if anybody has any first hand football knowledge of a young man by the name of Bryan Blazek, 5' 10" 165 lbs. freshman from West Des Moines/Dowling Catholic? He's 1 of 4 kickers trying to take over the duty from the graduated Jeff Schebler, another state of Iowa product, as kicker for UWW. Thanks in advance... ;)

He was 66-of-69 on PAT's, the highest in Class 4A last year.  12-of-15 on Field Goals, long of 46.  90 Kickoffs, 55 were touchbacks.

Nope, no scrimmages or practices at all this year, just going to show up for the 1st game and hope for the best! Figured that was a better approach then letting "scouts" from conference rivals in to watch practice  ;)

In all seriousness, no, they are not, just practice. But, if you are a "scout" for another team, beware, this year they are checking school ID's or drivers licenses at the gate. You can watch with binoculars from the street if you want  ;D
