Just finished the IIAC Season with NCAA 11 on PS3...it's wild...Cornell won the IIAC.    :D

I know that stores are really strict about returning games when the shipping plastic has been removed, but I'm sure if you share with them that Cornell won the IIAC when playing the game that they'll surely know that the game is broke.  :o :o

I was looking at the IIAC standings and noticed that this could possible turn into quite a bit of a race.

*How is it determined who the conference champion is if two, possible three, teams end up with identical records?
*Has anyone in the past been determined the champion even though they didn't beat the team with an identical record (and that team beat them)?
*Who would be considered the most controversial champion in the past?

The obvious horse race would be if Coe, Central, and Wartburg all finish 9-1. sinve the IIAC uses the Rose Bowl rule, Wartburg would go since they would be the longest time since a playoff appearance, even though it was only 2008. Whether a second team would go could be difficult. Central would proabaly get the nod since their non conference schedule was tougher. A two way tie would rely more on head to head for the conference champ, and again hoping for a second bid for Pool C. At this point Coe and Wartburg control their destiny.

Won't matter after Coe handles business this weekend

Pat ... I don't think the problem is with the browser.  I was able to click on the [read more] piece on the other Around the Region columns without any trouble.  It was just the West Region where the [read more] wouldn't work.

Who would determine that Centrals non conference games were tougher?
I would have to assume that in the past that there has been some kind of controversy to the determination of the standings.

Coe played two NAIA teams for non conference, which will not carry as much weight as Central's scheduling two D3 teams from tough conferences.

Well, it is, actually, because I can click on that link in Firefox. But we're not going to get IE to fix its bug so we'll have to work around it. :)

However Coe's win over Central carries a ton of weight.

The Rose Bowl Rule is in effect for the automatic bid.  The "Cross your fingers and hope" Rule covers the runners up.
