New headline in the Dubuque Telegraph: "Chalapty Donates Cotton Candy Machine to Spartan Athletic Department".

Another food related aside: The Chipoltle BBQ Bacon snack wraps at McDonald's may be the best fast food item I have ever tasted.

If Chalapty wraps the Chipotle BBQ Bacon around the Cotton Candy, Rev. 3 might be interested.

But by that point, would any team still want him?! :o ;D

Some rule changes from the NCAA
...http://www.ncaa.org/wps/wcm/connect/public/NCAA/Resources/Latest+News/2011/February/Football+Rules+Committee+recommends+restrictions+on+blocking

Cut blocking and taunting I think could come into play as far as the IIAC.  Will refs really flag those teams that employ the cut block?  Will refs really flag a kid and take away a TD if he breaks stride and pumps a fist a few yards short of the endzone?

For Rev. 3 you get this...http://bacontoday.com/bacon-cotton-candy-need-we-say-more/

For Purple Heys in the stands you get this...http://www.dipity.com/timeline/Bacon-Flavored-Vodka/

Stop your recruiting...UD has just landed Heys Rev. 3 for their 2012 recruiting class 8-)

But, until proven otherwise, I still believe he was a fraud.

Good point, and after checking, this poster did share an IP address with DutchDominator.

Since the two ids did interact, that's a violation of the Terms of Service. Banned.

So on top of everything else, this guy had a split personality?  ::) :P

NKD: "We need a f**king touchdown, excuse my French"
FBD: "I didn't know touchdown was French."

I recommend watching Alex Tanney's video from the front page. It is really impressive, much better than the UConn guy. Of course, he's not as accuate when he's being chased around by some guys in orange and black. ;)

Willie University

Great to see the Spartans Mens and Womens Basketball Teams knock Central and Wartburg out of the IIAC tournament last evening!

The mens team dominated the defending champs from the start and won convincingly. The womens team even more impressively as the #6 seed went to Wartburg and knocked off the #3 seed and 20-5 knights.

How does this apply to a football message board  ??? I am looking for similar results against these opponents come football season  ;D

I was concerned that Willie might be on to something, then I saw in this morning's paper that the girls basketball team from Mt. Vernon High School beat the Waverly-Shell Rock team in the district finals.  I decided there is probably no correlation.

Did someone mention Cornell?  :-*

I didn't put in the word conference, because it sounded better.

Just as I didn't mention Cornell, because I didn't want them to look......
well...I think you can figure it out.  8-)

I just heard a good review of the movie "Cedar Rapids," on the radio.  Anyone seen it yet?  I hear it is going to make Cedar Rapids a vacation destination just like the covered bridges and the field of dreams.  My favorite view of Iowa in the movies is "Michael," where John Travolta plays an angel.

The movie is made by the same people that made "The Hangover" if that gives you any idea about the movie ;)  I've seen the trailer, it looks good to me...but I know my wife will never watch it ::)

I probably shouldn't post a link...some of those Central types might blush :D

An insurance agent that has never left his small home town in Wisconsin is picked to represent his company at the convention in the big city of "Cedar Rapids"  Caos ensues with the convention regulars...John C. Reilly, Anne Heche and others.  The hijinks are similar to when Purple Heys first visited Cedar Rapids :P
