3 OT wins this year for Central it sounds like... has to be a record.  Sounds like Central is firing on all cylinders even on tough days... maybe a good IIAC rep for once.
The only thing capable of cutting Chuck Norris is Chuck Norris...

Central throws a SURE TD pass to the end zone....

Ball i n Schuring's hands but Steve Bartman comes out of nowhere to knock it down.  Damn Cubs.  Central 4th and goal....FG attempt is............

IIAC CHAMPS and another NCAA Playoff Appearance

Great job Coe on giving the Dutch ALL they wanted today!

So what do we have so far today...

Simpson over Loras 27-17
Dubuque over BV 27-25
Central over Coe 31-28 in OT

What other game is out there???

The Show

Seems like Jackson was able to make all the big plays for the Spartans today.  Someone earlier stated that he should be all-conference QB, but I think he's more of a RB that takes snaps.  Based on what I heard from the webcast today, he may struggle next year through the air without being able to throw it up for Belleus.

Wartburg may have their hands full next week...

LOL...like the Wartburg contingent will be quiet about business as usual today against Cornell. ;D

Storm-what?

Wow, sounds like a great Coe/Central game!

Good day in Indianola. A win at least! Also, props to the volleyball team as they knock of Central for the Conference Championship! Soccer is up at 7 PM for the same title.

Lots of teams stuck in the middle this year. BV, UD, Loras, Simpson, and Luther. Even though several teams are tied with Coe, I'd still rank them as the best "middle" team this year. No real surprise WArtburg and Central are battling at the top. As a Storm fan, I've sort of written off the season already of course. But I do look forward to seeing them rise up higher next year, as I believe they will. They relied an awfully lot on freshmen this year.

Walston Hoover

Wartburg, too has relied upon lots of freshmen and sophs this year, including a frosh qb the last 2 games.
You come to Wartburg to play for championships

The Show

BV is starting a lot of juniors this year.  I think only 2 starters graduate on both sides of the ball for next season.  BV's conference season is over, but it looks promising for 2007.

I'm thinking the Beavers should be able to handle a 1 win Waldorf team on the Lake to close out the season on a high note.

The Show

Anyone else see Joe Pa's knee getting blown out by the Wisconsin player diving out of bounds to make a tackle? :o  That had to hurt.

My guess is he'll still be on the sidelines next week, even if he needs a scooter!

At least he'd be able to get to the bathroom quicker on the scooter! :D
