This is the weekend of the Travers Stakes at Saratoga which is traditionally the Saturday Central has a pre-season intra-squad scrimmage.  Anyone know if that is happening tomorrow, the scrimmage that is?  I look forward to someone posting a scouting report.

The Central twitter feed just announced they will make an announcement at 8:30pm tonight...Maybe they will give you some info then

Is that what is called a teaser?  I don't like it when they do it to try to get me to watch the Ten O'clock news on television.  I like it even less when my alma mater does it.  I may have to go looking.  Even though I like to think of myself as a man of my times, I have never read a tweet.

What is different about these? I always thought Coe had good unis.....was I wrong?

Haha, how can you tell from that blurry thumbnail?

I concur however, based on these, im disappointed. It looks like there are now fade from red to white stripes on the pants, but aside from that can't really tell. I was hoping for the classic look and design with a modern cut and materials (similar to all the nike and addidas unis we've been seeing around the nation this year)...and I guess that could still be the case, cant tell anything from that pic.

Maybe that was the 1st of 11 different uni combinations for the Dutch this year...but in typical understated Dutch fashion, they'll just reveal 1 small blurry distant photo per day

We have yet to see Central helmets ...please, please, please let them be something like Maryland (another Under Armour school) so this board can go into meld down mode 

I wish we could sweet talk Pat Coleman into releasing Kickoff early so I could spend my weekend looking over that preview instead of yard work!!!

Luther scrimmaged today - Norse run!

OLd Norse, who used to play on this board, said that Luther had a good inter-squad scrimmage today.
Of course, he also said that Mike Durnin (fleeing to Dubuque) left the cupboard without anything in it.

I'm starting to wonder if I classify as an "old alum."  Maybe, I guess.  I like the new uni's and partnership with UA.  I don't think they should make any other changes though.  Stick with the classic look.
