Give 'em Hell, Wartburg!  We hope to see you in two weeks.

Looks like the Warts have a tough row to hoe.  Two deep this year.....I don,t think so. :)

Wartburg, you have an important responsibility this weekend. That responsibility is to beat a team that deserves to lose and then to meet the Johnnies on the field of battle in the time honored tradition of the IIAC/MIAC rivalry.

Now, one may say that naming a team as deserving to lose is a bit harsh. But THIS is what we're dealing with, folks.  Don't let DIII down.

I have faith in Wartburg.  Afterall, they've beaten Bethel this year, and Bethel beat U$T, so a Wartie/Johnnie battle is destined for round #2!

A tradition unrivaled...

For the first time in my IIAC life, I'm a Wartburg fan!  Go Knights!

Not so bad is it?

I think Central should be in the playoffs with the 8-2 record.  Yes, it was a tough loss to Monmouth early on, but they hung with 10-0 Wartburg in their only other loss.  Let's hope we can start to get two IIAC teams in the playoffs in the future.

They didn't really hang with them. It was a 3 TD margin. And if it wasn't for a poor read from the Wartburg LB, it would've been a 4 TD spread. Central was solid, and would probably beat a few playoff teams, but aside from Wartburg & central, the IIAC was weak this year.

I'd like to introduce you all to our 'special friend' from the MIAC board. He's actually pretty harmless, just make sure you don't feed him any peanuts (or scotch  :o)

ChicagoTommie

Scotch please I am running low😜 peanuts are for losers! That's for Wartburg hopefully😄😄😄

CT, these Iowa guys can't keep up with the MIAC chatter.

They used to. Or at least the Dutch did.  Why has I-O-Way slowed down?

I believe his greatest legacy comes not in how many football games he won or lost but in the fact that he was a committed follower of Jesus Christ.

Congrats to Wartburg on the honors, very impressive. I talked to one of the Simpson coaches and Logan Schraeder and Bobby Brown ended up tying for Offensive MVP of the conference but the tie breaker was head to head match up so Schraeder ended up winning that tie breaker due to Wartburg beating BV. Interesting. Best of luck to the Knights in playoffs!
