I agree - I haven't done my part as my schedule has been kind of crazy this fall. The Wart posters have been quiet the whole season - previous frequent posters (parents, former players, etc) that I talked to have other things taking up their time.

I didn't know you guys were still up there.  I thought I heard North Dakota bought Minnesota and turned into a tank farm to store all of their oil.

Loads of bulletin board material on the D3 website.... the Knights get very little love from the prognosticators.  The Knights (and the iiac for that matter) need a deep run to prove the strength of the team and the conference.   Very unfair that the Knights did not get Macalester or St. Scholastica in the first round.  Should create a slow burn for the players, who have done everything asked of them this year.  How the HELL did the committee give St. Johns an easier first round game?  Simple... lack of respect.

Best wishes to Wartburg to AGAIN surprise the so-called experts.

QuoteKeith's take: Wartburg 35, St. Thomas 21
Ryan's take: Wartburg 34, St. Thomas 20
Pat's take: Wartburg 54, St. Thomas 35
Consensus: For all the talk about it being a tough draw, we've got the Knights by two or three touchdowns.

Contradiction, your name is edolee.  Warburg gets little respect (this offends you) but they need to do well to earn respect (because... Your offence is irrational?).

Man....sorry that you guys didn't get a patsy in the 1st round!

The Committee has written guidance to avoid (flights and) first round remtaches of conference foes, regardless of seeding.  So they couldn't send UST to SJU in round 1 (or do much about Linfield/Chapman), and that became an unluckly break for Wartburg.  It's up to the Kinghts to make sure the Tommies aren't in Collegeville in 8 days.

I must agree, the scores go for Wartburg, but read this article that was published earlier...  and you will see what I mean.

Wartburg will get their chance to prove it on the field tomorrow.  I have been watching them and St Johns this year.
IMHO:
Both have great line play and overall team speed.  St Johns linemen are small fast and have given many teams fits.
Wartburgs linemen are tall fast and and strong.  Wartburgs offensive line is the best in d3.  I think there is a good Chance we get to see one of these teams against the Purple powers UWW.  Then we shall see where they truly stand.

Good luck to the Wartburg Knights today.  My family will be at Coe for a swim meet...but I will be following the game on my phone!
