from now on i guess i will be spell checking my post as it seems warthog has his red pen out.  I guess i will now be taking 4 minutes instead of 3 to post as i should be proofreading...maybe i will write in on paper first.   walston i am less than one year removed from playing so i would say i have some knowledge about the iiac, definitly not the most, but some.  go spartans!

So you are one year out of football, are you also one year out of college?  Should you need spell check just one year out of college?  Didn't you learn how to proof read in college?  You know too much about IIAC football and not enough about why you went to college,  to get an education.  I feel sorry for you if you went to a DIII  school just to play a sport.  If this criticism is not warranted then you should at least understand that writing a legible post is considerate to those who participate in the chat room.  Dubuque's student body is not impressing anyone with their academic prowess.  Did either you or Dowjones graduate.  Bad academics and bad football a timeless tradition of the Spartans.

Going to take off in a bit to watch the Beavers play the Duchickens.....  Should be a good one.  I'm guessing there will be some points being put up on the board.

Central by 3 over Coe - Suckow rushes for 200 yards but Kuyper magic happens and the Dutch pull another one out. 

Simpson by 10 over Wartburg -> yep, you heard it here first.  Simpson goes up and gets Niemann a win over the Knights

Luther by 28 over Dubuque -> which Norse team shows up this week?  Doesn't matter because they're playing UD.

Loras by 4 over BV - just a hunch here.

Actually, Wing T, we heard all week that Simpson is going to beat Wartburg today from all the other "experts."  I guess this is the year that the IIAC hates on Wartburg.  Although it is probably our turn.

Glad to see that the IIAC is hating on someone other than Central.....you guys can keep that honor up in Waverly for a while, if you'd like. 

Has anyone figured out how the U of Maine only beat Wm. Penn 28-0?  Can Maine be that bad?

Sheridan is no joke and we struggled all around today but Luther played very well. Keep your heads up Spartans.

Coe played a greay first half and good enough to win the second half.  When Central went hurry up they finally moved the ball and scored.  Central while out gaining the Kohawks never really threatened to win the game.  They made it look better at the end.  I think if the game would have had 5-8 more minutes Central solved its offensive problems to Coes D.  However we didn't and hats off to Coe for winning the game.

what a great game in Pella,  Both teams played well except for #87 on Central.  Serioulsy if that kid caught what he should have caught I would be blaming the game on the refs right now or somethng.  Central could have won that game if just a couple of plays had gone their way.   This was a big win for the Kohawks.  It seems that Coe vs. Wartburg will decide the automatic bid again this year.
