Outside the Crate

When one sees the attendance at the St. John's/St. Thomas game last weekend -- at nearly 20,000 -- one wonders how the presidents of the MIAC could conceive of an advantage of ending that contest.  I'm also interested that St. Thomas has lost two games this year; so much for domination.  Will they target St. John's next?  (No, is the answer.)

I think there is jealousy--the attention (and $$$) that Johnnie/Tommie gets does nothing to benefit the other schools in the conference.

St. Thomas is very good.  Their loss to UWEC was an anomaly.  Looking at the stats from that game, it's amazing that UWEC won.  Saint John's, though, is a very good team with a ton of weapons.  I don't think too many are surprised that they beat UST.

The Bethel vs UST game at the end of the season will be a good one. If Bethel prevails (like last year) UST will finish 3rd in the MIAC 2 years in a row.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

I assumed your previous (accidental?) response was a euphemism or something.

UST still must play Gustavus don't forget. Lots of potential schadenfreude-tastic potential remaining in this season.

(I'm still burning over or 3-5 MIAC record in 2012 when we lost to both STO and AUG. lots of pent up resentment to unleash still.)

The HCAC might need some attention prior to the Rose-Hulman game.  There is nothing there.

No more Tommie chatter on MIAC, so we need to expand our horizons. HCAC might be a good spot to recycle old jokes  ;D
