No, because there's no such thing in D-III.  There are no Letters of Intent.  Some schools might release lists of players who have told them they are coming, but nothing is final until the player shows up and goes to class.

On the pay site iapreps.com (run by a former Cornell alum), they have a list of where kids have committed to. Only a few on for Division 3 so far, but usually a pretty good list by May.

I'm stuck in Waterloo this weekend.  Hopefully I'll be able to make it back ot Mason City by tomorrow.  Walston, in case you're wondering, I'm staying at the home of your favorite cousin that you've hit on.

Anyone else snowed in this weekend?

Not exactly snowed in...but we had no electricity for about 24 hours.  Explaining to three young kids they couldn't watch Dora the Explorer was interesting.

We had ours all weekend but my parents in Butler county were without. Sounded like a heck of a poker game broke out up there though.

Sounded like they were running the conference indoor track meet in the dark over in Mt. Vernon.

ADvantage Catdome Interview Special!!!

Catdomealumni.com's blog "ADvantage Catdome" just posted up our first installment of the "Red and Purple Interview".  We'll talk to Linfield Wildcats of the past and present but also some select players who played against the 'Cats in some games famous in the Linfield community.

Breaking the ice for us is former Central Dutch Center, Reid Evans (1997-2000) who was the player that picked up the ball during what would be later know as the "Miracle in the Mud".  Reid was outstanding in recalling the events of that day in what should be a fun read for any DIII football fan.

Fantastic interview, WC11. Thanks for posting the link! :)

Good Lord...that was seven years ago, who cares? Well, other than Central and Linfield fans living in the past. And I don't understand that, it's not like both programs haven't had good teams since... "Miracle in the Mud"  - R.I.P.

Well I enjoyed the interview and watching the clip.

To this day I also enjoy watching the Cal/Stanford band on the field play.

I could go on, Iowa/Ohio St. where Marv Cook scored on the last play...Iowa/Mich 1985

That is part of the fun of sports, remembering great/infamous plays from the past.

Of course just as you can remember the past you can look forward to the promise of the future.  Dubuque went 2-8 again!!! Well maybe next year they can go 6-4...it could happen, you never know.
