warthog,

Who made the Knights the underdog in tomorrow's contest?  Floyd is right on.  The board seems to be pretty divided on the Wartburg/Luther contest, and until someone beats them outright, Wartburg is going to be the favorite in most contests.

Walston...I don't think I'd label a win over Simpson an upset, if that is the "upset" victory you are refering to.
Go Norse!!!

coocooforcoekohawk

Let's all be serious, we all know that Wartburg will win going away on Saturday.
I'm so happy 'cause today I found my friends. They're in my head.  I'm so ugly, that's okay, 'cause so are you!

Untill luther beats wartburg, they will be playing two opponets.  First one being the wartburg team at hand.  Second is the wartburg winning streak, i think dave said a fews day ago winning is a habit. Thats the point here, wartburg has swagger and luther is trying to improve and take a giant step.  This may be the first year since the last luther win that the teams have comparable playmakers.  Game should be decided by turnovers and running ability.  hope for a well played game.  my guess both teams score atleast 20.

xstorm,

I hear that Vince at UD might be in trouble this year.  The only way I think he can save his job is by beating Loras, which after hearing all the discussion about Loras sounds like it could be possible.

Warthog -- we all know that most of the players, despite not posting, read these posts religiously. It's a hell of a lot of fun to pick the 'Burg to lose once in a while, especially when they play Luther.  ::)

Go Norse.   ;D

Longtooth

My guess would be that Loras will have several tough Saturday's trying to score in The League.  Does anyone out there have any thoughts on it?

HI IIAC fans and posters
I have enjoyed reading your comments for the last 2 years since I have been out of the states, and finally decided to post myself. Former norse player so I have to cheer for the norse this week but beating wartburg has seemed like an uphill battle every year.

I wish I could be there. Should be fun to watch.

good luck to all the underdogs this week, nothing is better than seeing a ud beat a coe.

Im very interested in seeing the final scores of all the games especially the game between Wartburg and Luther.  But not as interested as seeing all of the lame ass excuses from the losing side of that game on why or how you may have lost the game.  It's obvious most of the people replying are from Luther and Wartburg this past week.  Especially Wartburg which is gods country of course (sarcasm).  Good luck to all IIAC teams this weekend.

FTDFTKGCK -

VERY original name.  How long did it take you to come up with that one?  If you paid for 4 years of education at Coe and that's all the better you could do - well, I feel for you.

FTDFTKGCK

thank you....and the name took me about 3 seconds to come up with actually. its all in fun though. sorry you had to get all worked up about it. but its fun for me at least to see you get pissed over  it. also, thank you for your concern.

Another offensive show being put on by the Dutch.  They're in a weather delay at the Rock Bowl.  Good thing they've got the new FieldTurf otherwise it would be a sloppy mess today up there.

Luther 26
Wartburg 18                       8:37    4th Qtr

Luther K just missed the extra point that would have made it a 9 point game....still a chance for Wartburg to pull it out of their _ _ _

FTDFTKGCK

Happy?? i changed my name. thanks for the update

sportsknight

Luther just scored...Norse up 26-18 with 8:30 left to play.

Knights have turned it over 5 times.
