Broadcast sounds good from BV so far...not too biased and having worked for KWAR, I can't complain about a college station having a little bias.

How is Truman football doing this year?  How's nine-man football in your area of the state?

We got our first win last night against our rival, Madelia.  It was Truman-Madelia football forever and it was 11 man.  But since last year, the schools broke apart and that is how we got 9-man, and the more hatred.  But a 36-8 victory we'll take.  But as far as the season, we took a beating the first game from Mable-Canton, and then Spring Grove, well we played em tough until the end of the 3rd quarter, then they broke away from us.  9 man in the western part of the state is pretty tough, smaller towns = smaller teams, and more turn over.  It could be better, but we do have some of the better teams in our area, Hills-Beaver Creek is always tough, and same with Alden Conger, The East, and north of the cities always seem to be the ones to be afraid of.  Where did you say you're at again?

Beaver's playing tough D no O, all 3 and outs.  Wartburg, just sounds like they are dominating the LOS.

My true hometown is Mabel (both of my older brother went to school and played football there, Dad was a teacher there for 30+ years)...but I went to Spring Grove (where mom taught).  M-C is tough every year.  Head Coach Karl Urbaniek has been there for years, and no matter how poor of kids they have, he gets them to good form and they win lots of games every year.

Good luck with the rest of the your season, maybe SG and Truman will face off sometime at the dome.
