I went to Iowa/Michigan last year in the big house....seeing 110,000 people is a fun experience....keeping a highly rated team close into the 4th quarter and leading in the 3rd is exciting.  We didn't get tickets in the Iowa section.  Standing up cheering with my wife and waving at the other Hawk fan about 2,000 people away good times there!  Tailgates on the golf course across the street is pretty fun and the fans treat the opposing fans fair. better than Jack Trice in my opinion, but that depends on where/who you sit by I'm sure.  hearing 100,000 chanting U SUCK every time you punt (quite a few Iowa punts that game) and during the starting line ups hearing 100,000 chat WHO CARES after every name would be destracting.

Coach Koehler sent the team an e-mail w/ Courier article from 2 years ago when LC ended their losing streak agianst the Knights.

89.1 - I'd like to add Kinnick stadium as a great place to go to a game. Especially when the game is late afternoon -night and lights come on.  I was @ Ia-Mich 12-10 game as well as Ia-ISU when Seneca Wallace went nuts in 2nd half. Fabulous experiences.

I have also gone to late afternoon game in Lincoln.  I prefer Iowa City.
I'm also old enough to remember and attending UNI game OUTSIDE. That was fun but when the 'dome gets rolling that's pretty good too.

I guess what I'm trying to say going to a game is always great.

UNI used to play outside??  ;)

I agree, Kinnick at night is special, definitely against OSU last year the atomsphere was great, game...not so much!

I am sorry we can't all be ready for Holloween every saturday, but blue and gold is the way we roll.  Rhyming is Key.

I've got no problem with navy and gold, thats what I wore all thru high school.  Mind explaining how gold and roll rhyme tough?  They're close, but the "d" at the end of gold kind of throws off the equation.

Far as college football stadiums go, I don't really have that much depth of experience to say one way or another.  Kinnick is very cool for the late PM/evening games.  The tOSU game was a blast last year, although I still have nightmares of the Seneca Wallace game in '02.  Went to Jack Trice for the first time last fall.  Tailgating atmosphere was pretty fun, and I like that they have all the tailgating right in one spot.  The UNI Dome can get rocking when the Panthers are taking on a quality opponent too.  All that said, if I could only watch college football in one place the rest of my life, I might pick the Rock Bowl.  Just a real picturesque setting in the fall of the year.  Granted, I'd want that purple track and the soccer lines gone, but you can only ask so much.

I was just at the Rock Bowl last week and I have to agree it is pretty awesome.  The radio booths looked top notch and the turf was great, except for the soccor lines.  Only 6 hours till IIAC football.  Have a great injury-free weekend to all teams.

GO NORSE!!!!!

Luther attempts Fake punt on own 30 yd line-  it gets snuffed and I  didn't catch the yardage needed.

what kind of play  call is that in a 0-0 game @ home when WB is struggling to move the ball?

hopefully the knights can capitalize on the field position
