You come to Wartburg to play for championships

You beat me to it Walston,I was going to link the picture also.

BTW,good luck to the Knight JV in their game against Luther this afternoon in Waverly.
NKD: "We need a f**king touchdown, excuse my French"
FBD: "I didn't know touchdown was French."

Walston,

They now have bleachers on the far side.  There were about three sections of metal bleachers.  I am not sure why they put them there.  The Central fans sat on the same side behind the Loras bench.  The stands were not even close to being full.  So just for the record there were bleachers on the far side of the field.  I think there might have been 4 people in them.

The picture you posted would not show the bleachers.  They are way up on the hill and would be out of the picture.

I haven't been to the New Rock Bowl, but it definitely looks like it turned out very nicely.  Might have to make a trip to Dubuque this year...
Go Norse!!!

I was there on sat.  I saw bleachers on the visitors side.
That pic is somewhat old.
Look I used your period.

Digger,

I don't think sportsknight (with a K) could have used the radio facilities on that side of the field since there are none or did I miss the press box above them.  sportsknight was the color man for the Dutch broadcast on 92.1 FM KNIA/KRLS Pella Knoxville radio.  So he had to be there.  I thought the addition of the bleachers was not necessary as there is plenty of room on the one side of the field for all the fans.  I would guess that the Dutch had just about as many fans as Loras had.

dbljay,

The Rock Bowl is a nice venue.  The field is very nice and the seating and concession building and facilities are first rate.  This is the second time for me to go there.  Loras should be very proud of them.  It would be worth your time to take it in.

Airbourne Dutch,

Doud was dressed, but win only three captains when 2 of the 3 are in street clothes it doesn't look all that impressive.   ;D

I don't have any idea when #8 will be back but I think they should rest him for as long as they need to so that he can be 100% when returning.

I was just trying to tell him that they are there.
The comment that loras didnt belong in that game and the one earlier about the loras cheerleaders is as stupid as i would guess the people who made them are.
Then he comes back and tells me to use periods.......  I think enough said...

Some things never change-Iowa plays to the level of their competition and only scored 1 TD again in a loss.

As a Hawk fan it was fun watching the Iowa Defense on Saturday night, but the Iowa Offense might have problems scoring in most of the games the rest of the way.  It is crazy to have that much youth and inexperience on the field at all of the pass catching positions.  Kinnick is really going to have to be worth some points this week.

I know the Indiana Defense gave up tons of yards on the ground to Illinois, but the Hoosier Offense should make most Hawk fans wary.  The Hoosiers lost the game to Illinois on Saturday because they couldn't hang on to the ball, not because they couldn't move the ball and get receivers open.

Iowa being favored by 15.5 points at home this Saturday seems way too high at this point.  They did beat the point spread against the Badgers, but I think a lot of people will be taking the Hoosiers and the 15.5.

Great game Mitch King!

Oh, the horror, telling someone to use periods so we can understand what they are typing about. You can take your little high school text-messaging grammar back to class now and let the big people talk.

2. I find it interesting how Suckow isnt getting nearly as many touches as a Knight as he did as a Kohawk.

He had 11 carries for 24 yards against the Norse.  VanRees had 11 carries for 42 yards and did not have near as many negative runs as Suckow.  VanRees is also averaging 6.5 ypc on the season.  It's still early, but Suckow is averaging 3.6 ypc.

Other than the first part of his freshman season (where he was dominant in lots of areas), I have seen Suckow as better on the edges, catching screens, other passes, and running reverses.  Coe the last few years has been more wide open on offense than Wartburg, so Suckow may not have the statistical year to match either his freshman or sophomore stats.  Didn't his stats decline somewhat last year?  He certainly played great against Luther in 2004.

Wartburg is strong at TE, P, and clearly on defense, no Suckow may not have to do much some weeks other than just be a potential weapon for opponents to prepare for.

Look at the grown-up posts now. Much easier to read.
You are very correct. My post about you using periods was completely classless and way out of line.
