Dillon just got flagged after a fumble recovery by Cornell was overruled after ruling fumble...the officials reversed.

Even Central announcers are not seeing the officials point of view.

2nd week that an opposing coach has gotten flagged after a Central turnover gets reversed.

IIAC needs to assign other than hometown refereeing staff...

Wouldn't have made a difference here...but it's frustrating.

We've seen the same crew at Mount Vernon for the home games I've attended.

A happy Homecoming for the Spartans!

Final score Dubuque 28-14 over Loras

Dubuque beat 2 of the 3 teams they lost to in conference from last year, with the Central game going to 3 ot's.  Good job Spartans.  Now lets close out the year with 2 more wins!!!

Ballgame at Pella  40-14...

Bad day all around if Coe wins.

Coe has two field goals blocked, and another hit the upright just before halftime.  Sherdan ended up with 161 yards rushing........ON 40 CARRIES.  He earned every yard.  Coe's rush D was really good holding him to 4 yards a carry.

This was the first gme all year that TeKippe really looked comfortable in the pocket.

Luther has ZERO passing game, and even when the Norse QB made throws, they were dropped as much as caught.

Hammes has his best game with 93 yards rushing.

Coe's special teams are aweful!

Coe's d-line really took it to Luther's vaunted o-line in my opinion.

Walston Hoover

The only place Luther's OL is vaunted is in their own program.
You come to Wartburg to play for championships

Wow! We need to keep talking about Yordi on here.
26-30 today with 308 yards.
All this talk about MVP's right now. There's about 4 or 5 guys you could give it to on Wartburg's Defense. Only giving up 7 ppg right now and I can't imagine that stat is going to change much next weekend.
Weber because of all the strengths he brings to the table.
Bruhn with his almost 2 sacks/game
Lansing because of the crushing hits he delivers.

you cant see me ....

I agree.  Coe was clearly the better team today.  "Tea Cup" threw like an All American with a tight ball and then ran up the middle when the Norse closed around the end.  I was also very impressed with Breitbach as a receiver, defensive back and punt returner.  I couldn't figure out why LC kicked the ball to him instead of out of bounds to keep it from him.  He made some great defensive stops.

Luther's O line didn't do anything after the first quarter and the D line rushed well but let the QB slip away time anfter time.  It was a slow, sluggish game for the Norse.

Sherden is an exceptional runner and the only weapon the Norse had today.

The most difficult part of the day was to sit under the speakers and listen to the pre-game "music?".

We didn't get to Waverly today for the Wartburg/Simpson tilt.  I noticed the audience was down this weekend to only 2200.  This was 4300 less than watched the Wartburg/Coe game last weekend.  I didn't realize so many people would choose to stay away just because I wasn't going to be there.

Insults continue...Dutch color guy just called us Coe...uggh.

Then Dutch score...from the Ram red zone, inside the 50.

I'm all for the homer radio type broadcast but today was pretty bad... I was at the game and once the iowa game was over listened to the second half and could not believe what these guys were saying.  I want to listen to the replay just to make sure I heard them correct...The PA announcer was straight annoying....I think he was jealous and wanted to be on the radio....A few quotes on "pleanty of time for Connell but still incomplete." Dude 1 just give me down and distance and 2 HE IS ON YOUR SIDE!  Another would be " on a Connell fumbled snap another incomplete."  The ball rolled back to him!  Center had a few issues today 1 snapped early down by the goal and a few grounders to short on the snaps.  It was hard for Connell to get in sync having to worry about where the snap was going to be.  Right out of halftime they did 10-20 snaps.  Didn't warm  up throwing they had to warm up the snap.

I really thought Cornell was going to get in the ball game in the 3rd at 26-14 and getting down to the 5 but then they remembered they were Cornell and fumbled and it was put away.

What kind of passes was Yordi throwing??  26-30 is crazy accurate

Connell finshes 19-33 4 TD's 326 yards with a pick.

Could have had at least two others picked...really good but maybe not his best, not his worst either.

accuracy wise not so much but 4 td's ties his most and 326 is the most he's passed for.
