AEN,
Not sure I'm with you on Army's camo today.  I like the helmets, but no so much on the pants.  I do really like the "Duty.  Honor.  Country." on the back of the jerseys though.

thanks JG, i started listening right after they kicked the first fieldgoal

davedevine

that was big with the missed FG - really need to get a score soon!

WB's 5th drive coming up, their avg starting field position is their own 22- not good!

Wartburg defense is playing pretty well so far, especially when you consider that they've been playing on a short field most of the game after the two Wartburg TOs and that big punt return.  The offense has to put something together here and give them a break.

Wow, the football gets harder in cold weather.  I never would have known that without that very informative update from the sideline reporter.   ::)

Really, I thought that the ball would get soft the colder it gets?  That's the hard hitting news that those sideline reporters bring to you.  "Al?"

This just in guys...a strong wind across the field makes it more difficult to be accurate on kicking plays.

Announcers mentioning the Wartburg fans making noise.  Good for the Knights to get a turnover.  Let's see the Knights take advantage now!!!

The QB draw is the best looking play the knights have run so far.

Holy smokes....good to get points but dropping TD's is not going to help you beat the hawks.

I thought that Willamette could makes plays when they had one-on-one coverage and I think the Knights should attack downfield anytime they see those corners locking up on the outside.

Did the color guy just say that Vetter dropping that TD was a blessing in disguise for Wartburg? ???  ???

You come to Wartburg to play for championships

It doesn't sound like you have listened to many opposing teams commentators in the past.  Plus, you being a media major probably makes you a more critical listener.  Most D3 announcers won't be winning Emmy awards.  And most are big time homers.

Let me rephrase...The Wartburg defense has done a good job of taking away the Whitewater running game (for the most part), but they're getting torched by the pass attack right now.

The Wartburg offense still needs to get something going.  Hopefully they can get it turned around after half time like last week.  Obviously a 14 point defecit isn't anything the Knights can't overcome.

Walston was a pretty big homer when he called Wartburg games a few years back.  Theres a difference between being a homer and saying something that stupid.

Also, that's a hell of a job by Vetter on the last play to not only throw the pass and almost catch it too.
