I have to say this reminds of the johns drivel when they whacked opponents a few years back. No need to apologize to a team you just shellacked like you hoped you would.

FWIW- One of the websites I frequent, over 2.5 million credits were won by people who took the KNights against the 24.5 point line laid down by Vegas.

Congrats to the Knights for making it into the third round. playing a competitve game today, and all that....  However, the implications of this post are despicable.

High School Musical 1 and 2 are over...which means my kids are finally in bed.  My wife doesn't have any more laundry or christmas lights to put up.  I can finally watch some football...and eat ice cream.

I am going to guess that someone thought it was despicable that you and others might gamble???

WHoov: Perhaps you are not implying anything directly, and I am certainly not suggesting any implcations regarding how the game was/is/are played or officiated.  Of course not.  The implication I am suggesting is with the Vegas forum you mention.  I have been around this site for many years (well, whatever 1000+ posts amounts to) and around D3 sports longer than that.  This is the FIRST time I have ever seen or heard D3 sports mentioned in the same sentence along with the gambling terminology you "laid down" so comfortably.  Since I don't frequent those websites myself (and neither should any of you, boys and girls   ), I guess that rattled me a little.

Is the Vegas Line one of the thread topics or categorical selections on this site?  Should Pat and Keith bring up the 24.5 spread that Wartburg covered during their next ATN podcast?  Is one of the advertisers of this site pokersuperstars.fillintheblank?  C'mon.  The week before "our game" I noticed ya'll posting about churches and the like.  Not to get too "preachy" here, but isn't the pure essence of D3, "sports for the sake of the sport" and not all of the other convoluted crap that we have to put up with in DI and the pros?

Again, this is not a personal attack but more an observation on apparently another layer of decay....evidently 2.5 million "points" worth.
