Hmm, let's see...

BV - Way out west
Central - Dutch Letters
Coe - Smelly
Cornell - OCAAT
Dubuque - Paradise  ;D ;D ;D
Loras - Full of themselves
Luther - Naked Soccer???
Simpson - DMACC South Campus
Wartburg - Mini Me to UNI's Doctor Evil...Or UNI light if you will.

Let's see...UD: 61% of last year's admitted students had higher than an 18 on the ACT.
                 Simpson: 100%

Wow - an 18 ACT? Can people with scores like that even dress themselves in the morning?

I went to high school with a guy that got a 14 the first time he took the ACT.  He ended up going to Loras, for what its worth.

Dubuque, always slow to update their website, lists two new football assistants.

Lance Taylor - Defensive Coordinator.  Recently the DC at Gustavus Adolphus.  Platteville, WI native.  Played safety at UW-Platteville

Andrew McGlenn - O-Line Coach.  Was a GA at Chadron St. working with the o-line.  Edgerton, WI native.  Played at UW-LaCrosse.

that was the 1st time - maybe he was sick, maybe he was incredibly hung over - not defending him because that is one of the worst scores i've ever heard of, but to get into an IIAC school, i'm guessing he raised that score quite a bit the 2nd try... just sayin..

It went up a couple points for sure, but I don't think he ended up with anything better than a 17.  Easily the dumbest kid I knew that didn't have some sort of learning disability.  I think he is a SpEd teacher now.  I guess the man with one eye really is king in the kingdom of the blind.

Thanks guys for the reponses to the "Dominant Culture" question.  Unfortunately the discussion turned comic and I cannot collect $ on a consensus of opinion.

coco

I'm curious, old Norse. What were you looking for in your Dominant Culture wager?

I realize this is the football board, but can someone tell how BV's basketball team was left out of the NCAA tournament? Do they not have very many at-large births? They lost 3 games all year.

The Beavers got screwed!  :o

Sorry oldNorse.  I was serious with BV, Cornell, Dubuque, Luther, and Wartburg.

The ACT is such a strong measuring device of ones intelligence level ::).  I got an 18 on the ACT took it once and I was hung over from the party after my last high school football game.  I will take an 18 on my ACT and my bank account any day of the week!

I like that saying 5 words.  My money is not locked into the markets watching it all going down the drain.  So how foolish am I? ;)

Where was Taylor most recently?

I wouldn't be making threats like that, or Klop might fit you for a pair of cement shoes. 8)
I'm so happy 'cause today I found my friends. They're in my head.  I'm so ugly, that's okay, 'cause so are you!
