By all accounts these 3 that recently got arrested did about all they could to draw a lot of attention to themselves. Not all college students try to pick fights with off duty cops and walk to the parking ramp of the Public Safety department and destroy property.

Coach Kirks son is one of three football players arrested last night for public intox.
Not sure how many straws it takes to break a camels back, but this one might be a heavy one.

Well thank goodness Junior wasn't out with him...it was Junior's 21st yesterday   :)

That must make you one old S.O.B. then ;D

But ANY movie with Salma Hayek in it is worth watching.

Point of contradiction...any movie she's in EXCEPT the one where she has a unibrow. (Frida)

But then again that might be a turn on for Coe Fans...   :D

From the IIAC web-site, here is a link to an interesting story re: the Director's Cup ... and even more interesting standings among the 9 IIAC schools.

I was driving down I-80 on sunday.  Approaching the Illinois boarder, when I see this 2 door spec all decked out in Coe stickers, Coe license plate holder, and a CoeGrad personalized license plate.  I speed up to catch a glimpse and inside were two obese women.  By obese I mean they were lucky to even get in the car.  Is this a new mobile marketing plan by Coe ;D

It appears if the Knights are going to want to challenge for the Sears Cup, Swimming will have to be added. 14 of the teams leading the KNights right now scored points for swimming.

BV dropped swimming and diving a few years ago and I thought it was pretty sad.  Its not like we did not have the facility for it.  God knows there was a good pool there and it was sad to see the kids in the program who had to give it up before their eligibility was done.

I know this is late, but the funiest thing that I have ever seen on a football field happened at the end of our last football game this season.  We had a kid who is partially deaf and not very talented get puked on by opposing player.  They called time out and our guy had puke in his hair and all over his face.  To make it even better, the next play, he breaks his pinky but does not care b/c puke was still coming out of his helmet.

Funny for us, not so much for the kid that got puked on.  ;D

At Dubuque I had a friend that grew up in England playing rugby.  He is a big guy, 6'7 and a wide body.  (lives in Madison, WI now and has completely lost his British accent)  He has the ability to make his nose bleed just by touching it a certain way.  There was a guy on the team they were playing one day that he hated.  He waited until they were piled up and couldn't move and he tapped his nose and started bleeding on the guy.  He said the guy was screaming for everybody to get up...while he just smiled and bled on him.

Lets see, this one time, in pep band...um...I got nothing.  I lead a boring life ;)

The lack of a swimmng conference in the IIAC is a bone of contention for me.
I'm so happy 'cause today I found my friends. They're in my head.  I'm so ugly, that's okay, 'cause so are you!

Until recently, I didn't realize that any school in the Iowa Conference had swim teams.

We seem to hear about the Coe/Cornell rivalry as quite an epic conflict.

I understand the Kohawks and the Rams are fairly close to one another geographically, but in their time as members of the IIAC they tend to find themselves at opposite ends of the football standings.

When they were members of the MWC were they more evenly matched?  If so what happened?  ???
