I am well aware of the UNI transfer as his uncle is one of our assistant coaches. I was told today that he is a "freak" in the weightroom, but I had heard he was on DL. Maybe with the LB's being pussies and faking tweeked muscles during the spring they needed to move him.

Two times in four years, way to go seniors that stuck around.

As a loyal Titan, it has taken me a while to be able to say this: congratulations to Coe.

In a single day, you gave IWU 33% of its losses for the whole season, 40% of Christy Engle's losses, and 1/8th of her earned runs (and after she opened the regional with a no-hitter ).  I really thought we had a good shot at the national title, but on that day you were better.  It still pains me, but sincere congratulations.  I hope you win it all.

If this transfer turns out to be a roofing running back/return man from Fredericksburg, something tells me that the sh!t won't hit the fan quite like it did two years ago.

It hasn't been said here yet, but congrats to the IIAC spring sports teams that are still competing.  Coe's softballers won the regional in Indianola over the weekend and are on to the next round.  Wartburg won three games on Saturday, including two straight over Luther, to win the conference baseball tourney and move onto NCAA play.  And Central's men and Wartburg's women won IIAC track titles yesterday.  That's the 10th in a row for the Wartburg ladies, who probably have as good a shot as anybody to win the national title in a couple weeks.  Here's hoping that all these teams (and especially the Wartburg ones) fare well and the IIAC can get some respect in the end-of-the-year Director's Cup rankings.

You failed to mention that Eric Bertelson was named the MVP of the Outdoor Men's Conference Track Meet.  He is the returning national indoor long jump champion and well on his way to nationals.  Just figured we did not want to leave out any outstanding individual accomplishments

Welcome NewKightDad! I think we're the only parents of current players. Look forward to seeing you at the games. By the way, good luck on getting into Joe's. I've been told it's off limits to me until the father-son pub crawl and/or senior day whichever comes first.

I've also heard about the "freak' transfer. I hope the outrageous squats in the weight room equates to some damage done on the field besides tearing the turf.
