That is correct Mr. Ypsi.  We would band together and protect IIAC territory while singing a medley of Martin Luther songs in four part harmony.
"Eine Feiste Burg ist unser Gott"

You come to Wartburg to play for championships

Mr. Ypsi

Better gird your loins - those Lake Wobegon Lutherans sound pretty tough!

And watch out if the Whippets go after IIAC baseball teams! :D

Kohawk Krazy:

I refer you to Webster's New World Dictionary, Second College Edition:

quibble (kwib'l) - (2) an objection to the main point as by emphasizing some petty detail.
(3) a petty objection or criticism

As I wrote, I didn't want to quibble over the tones of color.  Crimson and Vegas Gold is Red and Gold to someone who chooses not to quibble.

Well I figured since you had "Navy" in there for BV it didn't really matter.  The thing is, with some colors, there is a difference.  Coe originally was crimson and vegas gold before switching to Red and Yellow.  They have since switched back to the original colors.

Oh! ? !

I thought that you were so impoverished as a child that the box of Crayolas that your mommy let you play with did not have Crimson and Vegas Gold.

;)

Either Baptists or Sons of the Confederacy. It sounds like they are looking for some real estate to make their diploma mill seem more legitimate.

Regardless who they are, I'd say there isn't much of a chance of Waldorf ever joining the IIAC.

Ralph:

That is correct.

I got the basic box: red, blue, green, yellow, purple, brown, black, orange

Orange Beach, AL?

Beautiful location.  Just a few miles east of Lulu's, in Gulf Shores, AL.

That is Jimmy Buffett's sister's restaurant.

:D

I heard he was so poor his crayons only had red and yellow - I'm amazed he even heard of gold (nevermind Vegas Gold)! ;D

edit: just saw his post - you see, not even gold! :D (Maybe he mixed yellow and orange - smart kid! ;))

I know how you feel.  I had a crush on the little girl who sat three seats over.  She had all 64, you know in the box that had the built-in sharpener!

:D

Did gold come in the box of 16 or 24 crayolas?

Mr. Ypsi

Well, if no one else will step up, I'll post in hopes of a 100% IIAC on the ;atest ten posts. ;)

I doubt Pat has the records to confirm it, but I wonder if this is a first?

Ralph:  How should I know what box had the gold crayon?  I never got beyond the box of eight.  If I ever got to use something other than the basic colors, it is because I used some out of the broken & lost crayon box the teacher kept on a shelf next to the class gold fish bowl.  This in itself was confusing because the gold fish were actually orange. I know that because I had an orange crayon.
