I am curious to know if I will have a roster of current UD players by kick off on Saturday.

Looks like they put up some pics from UD's scrimmage for you.

Welcome to the board.  Any other news you have feel free to let us know.  Or introduce yourself.  If you are a Dubuque fan...even better ;D

Doolittle, I got a sneak preview of UD's roster. 24 of them had the name "KEEPER" next to their number and 110 of them had "NEW GUY" and their number, for a total of 117 players. Hope this helps.

I actually did find a file with this years roster, I just can't seem to find it again. Young Zwiefel has Orlando Walton old number 1, and I come up with a total of 97 players.

I may be mistaken but I believe the pictures of UD's scrimmage on their website violate NCAA rules. I don't think you can publicice any contact with another institution that is not a actual game. Maybe they can since it was against a JC.

FBD: "I didn't know touchdown was French."

Are there any other schools that do alumni scrimmages like Central? I think it's a pretty sweet idea. I'd like to see Cornell do something like this. I doubt it'll happen but here's to wishful thinking.

PH, when do you get into Iowa?

Thursday evening we fly into Des Moines.  I'll PM you my number.

I feel like that kid on Christmas Eve who tries to go to sleep at 2 in the afternoon to try to make Christmas Day come sooner.

I can't wait to get on the plane to Iowa.   :)

What Iowa lacks in mountain and ocean views, year around mild weather and stuff like that we make up for with our lack of earthquakes, wild fires, mud slides, low crime rate, and low property taxes ;D

Though I am guessing the first words out of Heys' parents mouths will be "damn, there is a lot of corn out here?  :D

Actually that's Senor and Senora Heys as in the wife's folks (mine would be Col. and Grandma Heys).  They are Cubanos and the first words will more likely be:  mire el maiz.

We'll be tailgating with Carne Asada and Cuba Libres.
