Hey if there are any Knight or UD fans listening to their games maybe you can post updates on the ingame thread.  Would like to know what is going on in them.  I am listening to the Redlands-East Texas Baptist game making sure the son is doing his job.   ;D ;D ;D

What a game! What a game! What a game!

Those are the games that you wait for to watch. I could not sit down at all in the second half. Watching the game leaning over the chair and pacing the floor as the game unfolded. Everyone was going crazy here!

My hats off to the Central Dutch players, coaches and the fans! (heard you loud and clear through the webcast)

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Everyone was going crazy at Central too!  I'm not surprised you could hear the crowd loud and clear, we were certainly loud today.  What an awesome way to start the home opener!  Very glad it was at home, the crowd was the 12th man on the field in the 4th.

Congrats to Central for an outstanding game. As much as I don't want to say this it looks like Central is back.

I don't think UD has a chance next Saturday ... but "run the table" and "one game schedule" sounds pretty contradictory to me.

I'm so happy 'cause today I found my friends. They're in my head.  I'm so ugly, that's okay, 'cause so are you!

This Central team reminds me in many ways of the 2005 Dutch that really resurrected the program.

That group had a sophomore QB in Connell who liked to be on the run.  It had a group of young players from a talented high school program (Pella - Schuring, Mulder, Fox, Smith, Bollard) and it learned how to win close games early in the season (Augustana on a 2-point conversion, Bethel goal line stand).

This group has a sophomore QB in Snead who likes to be on the run.  It has a group of young players from a talented high school program (SE Polk - Wong, Viggers, Snead, Snead, Wilkin, Dirkx) and it learned how to win a close game in a big way today.

If this young group has close to the success that the 2007 seniors had in their 3 year run, it's going to be an amazing '09, '10 & '11 seasons at Central.

Looking the stats over and I would say that this game today reminds me a lot of the 2005 game with the Vikings from Augustana.  The Dutch got beat on that stats except for the one that counted, the one on the scoreboard.  The Dutch found a way to get the W.  To me that is a sign of a good team.

I was somewhat surprised by the small crowd that the Pointers brought.  I would say that it was barely 100 people.  It may have been more but the visitors stand were sparsely populated.  I know it is a hike from Wisky to central Iowa but with the 7th ranked team in the nation I was expecting a larger following.
