I have a feed but it sounds like Charlie Brown's reacher is announcing.
NKD: "We need a f**king touchdown, excuse my French"
FBD: "I didn't know touchdown was French."

I can't imagine many Defenses have as many inside the 5 stops as Wartburg does the last 10 years.

I can't imagine many offenses having as many inside the 5 failures as Cornell has had the last couple of years...  :(

And that isn't just against the Kaniggets, so I don't give all the credit to their D on this...   >:(

The Cornell video feed started dropping in and out the 2nd quarter...audio is garbled.

On the whole though I'd rather have this than nothing.   :)

Perspective check:

Last year this game was basically over at halftime...today is different game if we could finish a drive.

Perspective check #2:

Yordi has missed at least 2 wide open receivers deep.

We are fortunate that this is this close right now.

30-7 Knights. Game was actually much closer than that.

Score was not indicative of game I didn't think. Great credit to Wartburg coaching staff for going back to what they do best in the second half and pounding the football at the Rams.
Rams are improved, but if those mistakes don't end, they are looking at a while until wins.
What is the deal with so many young guys playing there? No one stay around or what? How many years in a row is there a first year starting QB that is not an upperclassman?
Holy Crap. Great Run by Arizona TB

Wartburg did what good teams do...perservere and overcome.

An object lesson for the Rams...have to take advantage of the opportunities before they turn into opportunities for your opposition.

Some good things in there...but have to figure a way to finish drives in the end zone...can't keep coming up empty.

Central added 2 in the 4th quarter against an excellent Dubuque team.  Dubuque is going to have a good season this year.  Glad to hear that the QB was able to come in and take a couple snaps at the end of the game, would hate to see a senior out for the season.  Zweifel and Spaulding make a great 1-2 punch for the Spartans.  You have to stay sharp every play because either one of these guys has the ability to burn you on any given play.  Congratulations to Dubuque on an excellent game and to the Dutch for another very hard earned victory in the key city.  Congratulations to Warburg, Coe and Loras, wow, not many of us saw that coming.

Dubuque is going to have a say in who wins the IIAC, glad we have our game with them behind us.  Lots of tough games ahead.  Coe and homecoming up next.  One game at a time, that will be another huge challenge.

Rolled in from Mount Vernon about an hour ago, then watched the Iowa/Arizona & Norte Dame/Michigan State finishes before I added my two cents worth.

The Rams #12 had a nice ball game.  It was a big catch he had to get Cornell close to the goal just prior to the Wartburg goal line stand and fumble recovery in the west end.  He got himself open but was over thrown after being open in the east end.  He is quite a weapon.  I believe the announcer said he had five catches for seventy yards.

The Rams #15 seems to be a work horse.  He has several jobs.

Luckily for Wartburg, the Rams #21 didn't have the game today like he did last winter in the IIAC basketball playoffs.

I will never be seen on muscle beach so I don't have much room to talk, but it just seems the Ram o-linemen aren't in the best physical condition.  It appears a few of them waddle out on the field and aren't the most athletic individuals I've ever seen manning the trenches in the IIAC.  More vegetables and more time in the weightroom for these guys could improve Cornell's chances for some IIAC wins.

The Rams gave the Knights all Wartburg could handle for 2 1/2 of the 4 quarters.  The Knights looked like they just physically outlasted the Rams. I don't know if the whole league is better than last year, but I believe Cornell will win a conference game or two this season.

My apologizes to Cornell College.  The Knights fans sort of ignored the sign at Ash Park concerning the consumption of alchoholic beverages in or around the football stadium.  I don't know how we missed that sign.

I thought the Knights travelled with a nice sized crowd today.  I did feel sorry for the Rams.  They deserved to have more people cheering for them on such a nice day as today.  Its not like the season was over for them after the first two weeks.  The Rams shouldn't be playing to an away game crowd on their home turf.

The Ram fans I met today were great people.  Brighter days are ahead.

I only counted seven trains today.

Well Central had two stops inside the 1 today.
