You can't leave me....all the plants will die.

Purple Heys

A fitting day for 5 seniors.

They battled to exhaustion.  The better team...in fact...won today.

Bladt and King make the All-ESPN All-Region All Academic 1st team.

Jr. and Bladt have been invited to play in what used to be the Aztec Bowl in December.

Siar and Zasada play THEIR ASSES OFF, taking dual blockers each to allow the LB's the operating room.

Jr. is a scourge on offense causing Loras to scramble to keep him from running amok.  He was wide open at the 5 but was overthrown for a big TD opportunity late in the 1st half.

Bladt gets a pick, King plays and punt his toukas off.

Overall...a great day for 5 great kids.

We won because we were the better team.

It feels good to witness.

Before I am bagged upon for all this...you endure 4 years of no conference wins in almost 4 years then try to "act like you've done it before" when you finally win.   ;D

Poetic.  Cornell breaks streak on Senior Day.

Shout out to the IIAC Freshman of the Year (IMHO) Andrew Burdick...sets Cornell single season Total Offense record.

It would have been nice for this kid to have come to Cornell a couple of years ago.  Great competitor...

I would also like to congratulate the Rams on a nice win today. Being a Spartan fan for a long time, I know about streaks and they are meant to be broken. And it couldn't make this Spartan fan happier then for the Rams to break their streak against Lorass  ;D

Back later on the wonderful Spartan win today! (After my son goes to bed and I can concentrate  ;) )

Congrats to the Rams and their fans. The noon start allowed me to watch the majority of the 1st half. I switched back at half time of the UD/Luther-Dutch/Knights games and was compelled to watch to the end. I agree, the better team did win. But not without the "Here we go again" feeling creeping in for the entire 4th quarter. Two huge defensive stops at the end to earn the win. Great first half by your son and the offense. Congrats again on a long overdue W.

Haven't been on in a long time but just wanted to say congrats to Coe and the great season they have been having.  Besides the one loss to Central they have been firing on all cylinders.  two other things.  Brad Boyle the sophmore quarterback broke the NCAA record for most passes attempted in a row with out throwing an interception.  Also the freshman Frank Weymiller is now one sack away from drawing even with the single season sack record.  These are some great feats from some young gentleman and Coe has some great things looking ahead.  Lets beat Cornell next week.

I'll have to wait for Willie to get back for his take on UD vs Norse. I did spend more time watching the Rams and the game in Waverly. But from what I gathered, (To quote Denny Green) The Spartans are who we thought they were. Unfortunately, the Norse offense is also who we thought they were. I believe the Norse picked off 3 passes in the 1st quarter, two in UD territory, and come away with 3 points.

Heys ... because of your unceasing loyalty to the Rams ... many of us (most ... all) admire and respect you and celebrate today's Cornell victory with you.  We are happy for the Heys family ... for Jr. and all the other Seniors along with all of his senior teammates ... for all the Rams that got to ring the victory bell this afternoon ... and for a campus where there must be some great parties going on tonight.

I would love to see the Rams win two in a row to finish off the season!

GO RAMS!
Reality is for those who lack imagination 😀

Favorite play of the game...Zachary absolutely running #4 CB for Wartburg over at the goalline!

Congrats Dutch!!!

Thought the no huddle was pretty gimmicky by Wartburg...where is the smashmouth football that they want to hang their hats on usually. Gonna be toublesome next year without Yordi!

Ill take Sneads game passing 18-21 202 and 4 tds over Yordis 28-38 300some yds and 1 td any day of the week.

I had to check with my son but Wartburg changed nothing in how they run their offense for this game, they have been doing this for as long as I have been following them.
(2 years) ;D  Just trying to understand the gimmick comment.
Win or lose we still booze!!

I was meaning the no huddle offense, havent seen that ever. The Knights used to be a line up and bang em straight ahead but its been a couple years since Ive seen them. They had a good game plan against the Dutch today, throw the ball under, no splits in the oline to give them the advantage against a superior D line, no splits makes a pass rush pretty tough.

Congrats to Wartburg on a well played game today. Would have liked to see the Dutch tag on a few extra TD's

How about that TD when Centrals D stacked up the Wartburg RB at the goal line for the 3rd time, fumbled backwards and Yordi runs it in.

Though the two pass interference calls on the Central CBs on the TD drive in the 4th quarter were questionable at best.
