Ok, how many here were actually rooting for those Huskers so the "chaos" in the BCS would finally force serious talk about playoffs in DI?  It only took 2 penalties and a clock review to get TX into the National Title game - against a loser to ISU no less!

Not this year.  I wanted games to work out so Iowa has a chance at getting into a BCS game.

I wanted whatever outcomes would get both Cincinnati and TCU into top tier bowl games.  Now we'll just have to wait to see the match-ups.

Also ... here is the page for ESPN's College Bowl Mania for those of you who want to get registered early.  I will post this again once the match-ups are out.  We had good participation last bowl season ... and I expect this year's season to be no less.

It occured to me that in order to join College Bowl Mania, you need to know the name of the group is IIAC Forever and the password is IIAC2009.

Just was watching Cincinnati return a kickoff for a TD.  That Lambert kid sure put the wood on one of the Pittsburgh guys.

Most awesome day of football in my playing or coaching career to watch my son pick up his second Big East Championship ring. . .i did freeze my butt off. . .the bearcats were probably one second away from playing in the NCG
Why the defense ain't werkin'?

Another season, another BCS bowl for spurriers kid.  I bet it never will get old for you though ;)  Yesterday was even better than scoring a TD against Loras???  Yeah, I bet it was.

I am signed up for DBQ1965 and his College Bowl Mania...and my wife signed up as well.  She said something about beating once again and something I pretend to know something about.  Not sure what she meant by that :D

The article talks about his ability to recruit.

Will Cornell's admissions standards trip him up a bit in that area?
I'm so happy 'cause today I found my friends. They're in my head.  I'm so ugly, that's okay, 'cause so are you!

We'll find out when players report in August. I guess they'll have a little bit of a preview based on incoming players' deposits next spring but that doesn't always translate to them showing up when it's time to start preseason camp.
