Even Wartburg has open practices. What are the Spartans hiding? And won't everyone know it after the first game anyway?

FBD: "I didn't know touchdown was French."

Who really needs to scout UD? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know what they are going to do -- throw the ball to #1 -- repeatedly!!  ;)

I find it laughable that you say "EVEN wartburg has open practices". That makes you sound like you have a false belief that wartburg is better then other conference schools. You are the voice that makes conference teams hate wartburg. Just remember, you finished 1 place higher last year my friend and coe and central own you right now. And other colleges are catching up........ :o

and PS- Your head coach is looking for a job EVERY season and you buy student athletes to attend there  ;)  ;D

Central is looking pretty strong on paper this year with lots of returners and a couple of very gifted guys that were eligible to return for a 5th season.  We do need to find a replacement at running back, but know that we have some talented returners just aching for their chance to strut their stuff.  Plus, we have a very talented local freshmen who could follow in the footsteps of Vance Schuring, or going back further, Scott De Jong who ranked among top rushers.

It will be another exciting year and some tough non-conference foes to kick things off.

Wartburg is better than all other IIAC schools, just ask me and I will tell you!! [/color]  ;D

On paper, it doesn't look like anyone will give central a run for their money. A ton of returning starters, the most all conference players, etc...

Thank God football is not played on paper. I just hope we get central before they really start clicking on all cylinders.

I think you and footballdaddy are "brothers from other mothas"

Do you guys call each other before games and make sure you each wear matching orange outfits  ???

footballdaddy

Willie, it's very hard for me to not respond in kind, but this is a forum where we kid each other WITH RESPECT. If you can't do that, or if you feel that this your idea of respect, then maybe you could find another board to show your obviously superior intellect.

One of things I have admired about McMartin, and one of things that seems to me to be a real measure of a good head coach is that his teams do a pretty good job of starting the season "clicking on all cylinders."  I hope he can keep it up against Oshkosh.

I am just glad we play UD in Pella, less chances of triple OT playing here.   ;)
