When records tail, coaches bail

Quote from: IIAC program records prior to coach resignations - does not include coaches who resigned to take another coaching jobCoach K ... 8-2, 10-1, 10-2, 12-1, 9-2, 8-2, 6-4
Coach H ... 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4, 2-8, 6-4
Coach B ... 0-8, 0-8, 1-7, 2-8, 6-4, 7-3, 3-7
Coach N ... 6-4, 9-2, 5-5, 3-7, 5-5
Coach D ... 2-8, 2-8, 0-10, 3-7

Now that I have weakened the schedule and added one win to each of these final years, do you keep those coaches?

For the record, in '09, the Rams beat Grinnell and Loras.  That's two (2) wins.   :D

I wasn't talking about an 0-9 team scheduling an NAIA team vs. a WIAC team.  The fact that Pat brought up the WIAC motivated me to observe that Pat seems to think in terms of those teams first.

Then you 5,000 percent missed the point. The point was those teams are always available to schedule a game. And since I am in the Midwest, talking to a Midwestern team's fan about a Midwestern team's scheduling, that is who I referenced.

Give me a break. Don't argue with me if you don't even know what I am talking about.

Give us all a break.  I'll argue with you any time I darn well please.  Unless this is not a free and open forum then quit trying to intimidate folks that hold a contrary opinion, however flat out wrong you may consider them to be.

I have tried to explain to you what I am talking about.  It isn't about whether the WIAC schools have open date to fill or not.  Apparently you don't get my point or I am not articulating it clearly.  Either way I don't care.

We had the big rivalry game tonight. I know that the state of Iowa has rivalries that have been going on longer than Arizona has been a state, but this one has all the hype and excitement that is the same in comparison.
Unfortunately, it has been a one sided battle for some time. My sons school has controlled in the domination for the past seven years. Their team has been struggling for a victory. They started their season 0-2 and us 2-0. The score between us in the past few years has been lopsided.
The outcome of tonights game...they won. 16-13  :-[

Was your mom watching or listening?  If she is listening to Central, give her some head phones and rock 'n roll.   ;D ;D

Argue with me if you like but represent my side of the discussion fairly and don't twist it around to something I was never even talking about.

Agreed.  I ask the same courtesy.

Don't use Coach Kac in this stat, the season record had nothing to do with him leaving.  He made choices that lead to his decision to leave.  Yes, he left after a 5-5 season, but it wasn't because of the won-loss record.

yeah, from what I hear Coach K was a little too serious about Jesus for Central...
Central supports any faculty or staff member's faith.  Inappropriate decisions by any faculty or staff member seen as being in a position of power that could also be seen as unduly influencing personal decisions is not supported and should not be.  Kac made the decision to leave, under heated debate and is now head coach at a school much more fitting to him.  Central has an even better coach.  Pella Christian had a good coach, everyone in Pella is happy.

Well, maybe not.  PC did lose last night.  Got to tackle lower on the body boys, shoulder tackles do not stop players.

Central would have still changed.

Agreed, and we would still be 2-0 against the WIAC the last 2 years.
