I have talked to parents that have told me the kids read the boards.

But I guess that technically, I have to say "Probably yes, but it's just a hunch"

I checked the yes box.
My son told me in the first week I joined the boards that his teammates knew which user name was me.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. I do have to say that looking at the most recent posts on Simpsons math skills, that if he was at Simpson I could probably sign my name and they still wouldn't figure it out?  :o :o :o

Two years ago I wrote about my daughters team having a rumored super player that could really light it up named Remi.  Remi was the team dog (canine variety save your comments).
Several of the girls told me they had a chuckle reading about Remi.  So I know they read the boards. Remi lost her place to stay on campus and now resides in the Bird Dog kennel.  Supposedly when my daughter graduates Remi is going with her any bets on that happening.

I have told the player, coaches, and parents my handle.  I doubt the coaches remember but the players and parents comment about postings.

I know of instances of them posting.  So yes some definitely do read the boards.

So I am trying to work with Coe on a designated tailgate area for Wartburg parents before the game.  I get the response from Coe "Since this is our homecoming we do not have any areas available for your tailgate as we have too much going on".

Are you kidding me??  I really wanted to respond with "We are just trying to make sure we are not attacked with garden tools because we are using the wrong parking spot".

I guess since I work in CR I will find a good spot for our tailgate and hope we are not attacked.  :D
It seems like a year or two ago we had discussions about Coe being the "ghetto" school.  I didn't get it until Saturday.  Plan your tailgate somewhere other than the street directly across from the football field.  Or to keep things interesting, plan it exactly for that spot.   :o

This board will be able to mine that gold for a long long time ;D

I wonder if Boyle will help us put a roof over our spot? ;)
+K for that one.  Where's the icon for a strategist deep in thought?   ;)

Well, there is a new AZ Dutchman on the JV squad this year.  While I hate to give too much credit where it isn't due, I think even Simpson could figure that one out.   ;D   Then again, if they do need help from a rocket scientist, one of Central's former all americans is one.   :)

Yes, then they are very quickly embarassed by the posters and yanked off the boards by the coaches.  What I don't understand is why more former players don't join.

Do student-athletes read the D3 boards?
A lot of them do. Now that you mention it, we haven't had an active BV player post on here in a while. I guess coach laid the smack down on that one.

From what I have heard, the person in question from the incident had mental problems.
As far as tailgating for the WB game, your best bet, being that it is homecoming, is to try to post up somewhere along the fence that encloses the field. you can't reserve spots

I think he was HONORABLE MENTION "JV All-Conference".
Aaron Kampman on Coach Ed Thomas
I believe his greatest legacy comes not in how many football games he won or lost but in the fact that he was a committed follower of Jesus Christ.

Have been very busy with work and family.  Congrats to Coe on the win.  From what I know they earned it.
