It sure has been boring since KnightSlayer got kicked to the curb.

I think Central will go undefeated next year. The only reason we lost those games last year was because...because...because the sun was in their eyes.
When I played football they had parades for me every 4th of July. I played so hard that I broke both of my legs. I just drag them now with my walker that has the tennis balls on them. I'm so competitive I came in second place in the Boston Marathon last year. When I walk into a bar people would chant for me, but I hold my arms out (which were broken also) so they don't. People buy me drinks all the time when I talk of the old war stories. I buy them drinks to. (For the record, that's how my tab gets so high.) Ten of the bars in Pella gave me an open tab because they want me to keep on coming.
Central will win the rest of their games, because I am now the number one fan. That has to do with me being so competitive. I'm the loudest out there. Way louder than those elderly people.
Move aside Wartburg. There's a New Slayer in Town.... ;)

Would you believe that when I go into bars everyone chants....
Dick Dick Dick because I was a great running back like Dick Butkus. I received defensive All Conference twice.
The bouncers used to have to hold everyone back when they rushed at me for my autograph. The crowd accidentally broke both my arms trying to get my priceless autograph.  ::)

Hello gentlemen! New Dutch fan on the boards and this time its no hoax! Im a long time reader but never a poster due to certain academic and athletic restrictions. Looking forward to the banter and discussion on our favorite football conference!

How were you restricted?

warthog

It appears the Wartburg 13 year strangle hold on the IIAC men's all-sport trophy could be in jeopardy.  With the winter sports added there is only 2.6 points separating the top four schools - Wartburg, Coe, Luther, Loras.  The basketball eighth place finish really messed things up for the Knights.

On the women's side Wartburg is holding a 7.6 point lead over the second place Luther Norse and an 8.9 lead on the third place Loras Duhawks.  With only track and softball remaining, it appears the Knights should be OK.  The Norse are strong in both spring sports, so it isn't over yet.

When you're a player, it's always better to settle it on the field rather than on a message board.
