Thanks Fannosaurus Rex for expanding your technological expertise. I was able to pull the game up on the other.

Congratulations to the Dutch!
They probably could have won by more, but they only played 3 out of 4 quarters to save themselves for future games.  ;)

I was fortunate to have been able to see the Iowa game. It was broadcast on Fox Sports AZ. That was a good game to watch in the background.

Caught the end of Cy-Hawk as well. Gutty win by Coach Rhodes and the Cyclones. There new QB was impressive today.

Congratulations to Cornell on getting it done today! They didn't play a full four quarters but they got some things corrected after a horrible 3rd quarter. Hearing them right that victory bell never looked so good.

Flores looked like a not-so-thick Jemar Jackson. I'm sure Coach B was counting on that while recruiting him. Their run game needs some real improvements. They have some play makers at wide receiver. They just need a balanced attack if they expect to compete once conference games start. I wish the best to those who couldn't finish the game. It looked like the injury bug was lurking in Mount Vernon today. I hope they were minor things but we'll see.

Great going Rams!!!  Close out the IIAC at 4-6 or better.  This is the year to go into the Midwest Conf. as the winners you will be!!

In reference to Wartburg's game tonight: An ugly win is still a win.
NKD: "We need a f**king touchdown, excuse my French"
FBD: "I didn't know touchdown was French."

Hey, any time a D3 team can beat Michigan, that ain't ugly.  OH...Gustavus just copied their uniforms.  Well, like you said, an ugly win is still a win.  At the end of the season they don't count up and divide ugly wins from pretty wins...they all count the same in the end.

For the rest of the conference...

I know no one likes to hear about a moral victory, but Simpson and Luther played well yesterday.

Cornell is 2-0 while Coe is 0-2  It will be interesting to see how close those 2 teams end up at the end of the season.  Within 2 games of each other???

Loras looked good yesterday...but it was Rockford.  Dubuque looked good yesterday...but it was Anderson.

I think BVU might be in for a long season.

Central gutted out a similar looking victory over Auggie that UD did the week before.

I'm not sure where the IIAC is headed going into the conference portion of the season.  As a Spartan fan, I am optimistic.  This is a good team on both sides of the ball...but I refuse to get too excited just yet.  We all know it's a long season.

Wow, who'd a thunk it?!?  7 picks for Boyle in two games, thats just nonsense, something must be in his head other than reading the D.

Caught the Dutch on the iPad while suffering through the Hawk defeat on the big screen.  They got back on their game of giving up enough yards to win.  Very good to see some take aways for the men in red, rather than give aways.  Seems the line has to get some things straighten so they can spring Dohrman for more than 2.4 yds per carry!  won't win the conference with your QB carrying the rushing load.

Congrats to the rest of the conference winners.  Can't wait to see how things shake out when we start going head to head.  Hope the Dutch don't take Luther's 0-2 lightly, they sound like a team capable of beating anybody in the conference.
