Security might want to keep an eye on you two.  ;)

Chandler usually has one guy on me whenever I'm on campus.
I'm so happy 'cause today I found my friends. They're in my head.  I'm so ugly, that's okay, 'cause so are you!

Do you blame him?

Best color combinations for a football uniform in the IIAC?
Current style need not be considered.  Colors only are the criteria.
You can't pick your team's combination.

(Current)
Navy/Gold
Red/Gold
Purple/Gold
Red/White
Blue/White
Purple/White
Orange/Black

(Throw backs since the 1950s, not mentioned above)
Green/White
Navy/White
Baby Blue/White

I believe I am correct in saying that Parsons College was decked out in Green/White.  That would be my choice.

I would have to say red/white or orange/black would be one of my choices.

I'd like to make it a recruiting effort and have many of the guys show up.

I'm not counting any chickens before they hatch.  I just have question concerning playoffs.

Should the following happen:
1) Dubuque beats Coe and finishes 9-1 - Loss to Wartburg
2) Monmouth wins Saturday and finishes 9-1  - Loss to Wartburg
3) Wartburg wins out and finishes 8-2 - Losses to Coe & Simpson

Is there any scenario in which you would see a second place IIAC team with an 8-2 record, that has beaten two AQs, sneak into the playoffs?

I don't see any way that the IIAC would get two in if Coe gets the AQ with two non-con losses.

I think this is the year of the far west conferences getting two teams in the playoffs.(SCIAC and NWC).

I was thinking of being a Dubuque fan but better yet, I want to see Coe win out so I can say Central beat the national champs.

This got me to thinking that between my parents, my 3 sisters and myself, we all went to schools that either had Black/Gold or Blue/White as their color combination.

I have always liked Orange/Black as a combination.  Too bad their isn't an IIAC school that still has that combo...oh wait, while the Wartburg sports teams seem to have gone Johnny Cash all black...their fans have taken up the Orange theme.  I really like that combo.

Blue/White I would like even if I didn't go to Dubuque.  It's a nice combo.

It would be nice to get some more color combos like Green into the conference.

Northwestern - Red and White...been there, done that
Dordt - Black and Gold (I think)  I like that
Briar Cliff - Blue and Gold...we already have that
Morningside - Maroon and White...meh
Graceland - Blue and Gold...here we go again

Ah, let's add Morningside and St. Ambrose...gives BVU a partner in Morningside (and a way former IIAC member) and Coe kind of a partner in St. Ambrose...a rival for Loras and also another former IIAC member.

Or, we could actually make an Okiboji University for all those people that already have the window stickers and give them Green/White in their color scheme!!!

In general I do not like red/orange, red/yellow, or red/gold, but red/white or red/black looks solid.

I know this is about the color scheme, but the style is almost always a bigger thing.  Some years Upper Iowa had solid uniforms, many years they looked like clowns.

I like the current Central uniforms the most of any team outside of Decorah.  The numbers on the side of the helmet for the Norse are great, but I did like it better when the Norse had the shoulder striped Colts looks with the jerseys.  Both the Norse and Dutch have sharp helmets with the white helmet, but I like the Norse having the numbers rather than a logo and I also like the single stripe rather than a Dutch double stripe.

I used to like the Cornell purple helmets with the white ram horns on each side.

Loras can put out a good looking uniform when they have the gold helmet, gold pants, and basic purple jersey.

My favorite SEC helmet is Alabama as it hasn't changed at all.

The Michigan helmets are great, and they made them better by adding the small numbers on the sides.

I was also a fan of the Purple helmets with the white ram horns. However I do like the new look they had the past two years. I do think they could go back to a newer version of the purple helmets with ram horns and make it look pretty solid with the new uniforms they have.

I am with ya on the Michigan helmets even though I am not a fan of Michigan at all.
