I still roam around here from time to time! I just heard that outfly is today at Wartburg, Warthog....is that really why you were throwing the three cheers out to Cornell. Getting in the sauce a littler early uh?  :D

Glad to see Ash Park coming back to add his insight to the IIAC conversation.

By the way, three cheers for the Rams of Cornell College.  Four MWC games into the season and they already have as many conference wins (2) as they had in the previous six seasons in the IIAC.

My wife didn't let me know that! I am suppose to get the day off of work when that happens! ;D

Looks like Coe is looking at doing some more facility improvements in the future.  I pulled this off a website I work on daily that has information on project in the planning stages.

Campus Expansion Project; Provide For Playing Fields For Athletics And Intramurals, Acquire Properties To Convert To Green Space, Beautify Campus, Revitalize Northeast Side Neighborhood Including Adjoining Business District, Fieldhouse Performance Arena Improvements, FieldTurf All Weather Surface For Clark Field
Win or lose we still booze!!

Just more reason Central needs to fix their facilities. After this Wartburg will have the "W" over them, DBQ has...well everything, and Coe will have a nicer field at the minimum.

Even after doing all of this Coe will still be in one of the worst neighborhoods for crime and violence.  Nobody in the IIAC will match them on that.   :o

I get down in the Coe neighborhood quite often for work and I have never been a victim of violence (attacked with a garden tool) but for those of you that have met me...I'm a large and intimidating figure and it would take a lot of guts to want to give me a hard time ;)

Buena Vista just completed a major renovation of their football stadium.  New field turf and track, lights, renovated concessions/restrooms, new scoreboard, and new upgraded visitor side seating.

Simpson put in new turf last season, along with new ticket booths, concessions/restrooms which was phase 1 with phase 2 to be new seating.

Has anyone questioned the safety and/or legality of Loras putting up visiting side bleachers on top of a cliff with no barriers to keep someone from falling a good 30ft or so???

Maybe some of the people on here that played in the Rock Bowl can verify also.

On the northwest corner of the field in the field of play a large rock (boulder)sticks up through the playing surface.  When we were on the field after the game with our son last year he pointed it out to us.  I can't believe they leave that thing there.

Talk about a school that needs a new playing surface.

Good points...I guess I was just referencing teams that continually beat/compete with central.

No one else in the conference can match them on the variety of unnameable smells either.  ;)

No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part!
